All I know is that our bodies quit producing cholesterol when we eat it, so we don't really have to worry about cholesterol in the foods we eat. Along with that, the latest research shows that it's actually body inflammation, due to excess sugars, that causes heart disease and 'hardening' of the arteries, so the best recommendations now are to eat natural foods, extremely limiting any kind of processed foods and added sugars, including hfcs. Personally, my family doesn't worry at all about those 'cholesterol' numbers, as they're very misleading.
