I cant take Metformin because i get really ill from it. I get lots of stomach issues, but my doctor has put me on glumetza to aid in weight loss...anyone have any succes with that? Anyone been on Effexcor and glumetza at the same time and had success with weight loss?

I was only on glumetza for like a second... because Metformin suddenly started making me ill. My endoc switched me because Glumetza is digested elsewhere, but it turned out I was ill because I really didn't need it any more. So I got off it.

Metformin never helped me lose. It did stop the weight gain creep though.

HTH!

Never heard of any of those drugs. What are they supposed to do?
