Hello,

I am in the process of trying to lose weight. I have not limited myself at this point...I have taken the "everything in moderation" approach and it has worked so far.

Basically because of some stomach concerns, I will more than likely never be a candidate for weight loss surgery. I am healthy, and I do not have any health issues besides frequent stomach upset.

What I am wondering is if there are any specific forums for those of us who are not losing weight due to weight loss surgery. I know that there are different concerns for both groups (those who have had surgery, those who have not).

I am really hoping to connect with people who are overweight and who have not had surgery.

Hi there! Yes, there are TONS of forums here for folks who have NOT had weight loss surgery. The forums are divided mainly by plan. There are calorie counting forums, Sugarbusters forums, South Beach, Atkins, Weight Watchers, Weight lifing...go to the main page with the forum lists
(http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/index.php) and check them out. Some are age and stage related, some are aimed at folks with a lot to lose, some are for folks with just a few pounds to lose. Explore all the different forums until you find one that seems to 'fit' for you. There is a forum for folks who have had, or are contemplating weight loss surgery too, but that is just one small corner of this website.
