I got an email from a reader today. When she tried to add my 3FC blog to her site she got locked out of wordpress.com. The response to her inquire was:

"Can the links to 3fatchicks.com be removed, please? These are heavily used by spammers, so we no longer allow them. Thanks."

She had to remove my link from her blogroll.

Looks like they are not allowing links to 3FC blogs. Anyone know anything about this or can anything be done?

I know that 3FC itself does not spam, but we do have a problem with spammers signing up for the blogs and creating "splogs". We go through them several times a day to search for and remove splogs, but apparently we don't catch them all. I'm so sorry to hear this has happened

Thanks for the info. I love that I could so easily start a blog with 3FC and hate that others are spoilers. Such is life in a world of technology, I guess.
