Java and javascript are different, and I'm not sure how Safari handles it. What version of Safari are you using?

Btw, are you on a Mac? I was checking with Safari for PC. If you are using a Mac, then I'll need to get to one to test it out there. However, the Wordpress program is designed to be compatible with all and is popular with Mac users, so that's why I'm so confused why your system isn't displaying everything. Maybe a firewall issue?
