Question for Butter Butt
 

Hey Butter,
I have been reading some of your threads. I am interested in your alternative healing supplements for T2 diabetes. What are you taking?

I was dx in February and am taking 500 mg metformin. My a1C went from 6.6 to 6.0 in three months and dr. wanted to increase metformin and I said no. Ended up putting me on ACE inhibitor. My highest blood sugar has been 200 and that was during the testing. I say I'm pre-diabetic.

I'm curious what you are doing because it looks like they just want to dx me and throw me in the pen with the rest of the patients. He never tried me on diet and exercise alone ~ immediately medicate.

Any help from you would be appreciated. (BTW, I live in South Dakota. Vitamin D deficiencies are notorious here ~ as much as diabetes dx.)
