1/2 c almond flour
1/2 c plain whey protein powder
1 c ground flax seeds (meal)
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup unprocessed oat or wheat bran
3/4 c water
1/4 c Chai Tea Concentrate-DaVinci's Sugar Free (http://www.davincigourmet.com
1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup sliced raw almonds
How to Prepare:
Combine all dry ingredients and all wet ingredients in separate bowls, saving 1/4 cup sliced almonds as topping. Mix the two bowls together.
Bake at 350 for 40-50 min (center should be firm) in a greased loaf pan, sprinking almond slices on top. Makes one loaf. Serve with cream cheese, butter, or drizzled with more chai concentrate. Especially good TOASTED!
