Chocolate "Mousse"

2 boxes of sugar free, fat free chocolate or chocolate fudge instant pudding
4 cups fat free milk
1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip Free

Prepare pudding according to package directions, with 4 cups of FF milk.
Fold in the Cool Whip Free.
Chill several hours.

2 points per one cup serving.

(I have also used one box of chocolate and one box of vanilla pudding when I was short on chocolate and it was yummy, too.

Also, please, note, I normally would avoid instant pudding like the plague, but I tried this with the cooked pudding and it just didn't work.)

I couldn't resist posting, even though I don't follow WW, because this is the same recipe my 90-year-old grandmother uses as a quick and easy frosting on her cakes! Grandma taught me that this is the simplest topping to make for a 9*13 box cake when you're short on time and have company coming over. Granted, she uses the original Cool Whip and regular instant pudding, but it's the same thing. Delicious!

90 years old and still cooking! Bless her heart! But I guess I really shouldn't be surprised. We just buried a great aunt of mine who was 101, and kept her driver's license until she was 99! She was REALLY pissed when the cop took it from her after a minor fender bender!:lol:

I made this tonight and it is very good. It gives you a different taste and texture than pudding which is a nice way to mix things up (I seem to only ever eat pudding and jello for dessert). Even my husband the mousse lover thought it was really good.

Mmmmm! Sounds delicious! I am going to have to try this tonight. Thanks for the recipe :)
