I make a SouthBeach approved ricotta dessert but I use liquid Splenda and Flavors2Go, so I can make a different flavor every day of the week.
I also flavor plain yogurt that way, and LF or NF cream cheese (to spread on celery or a small apple).
Fruity Ricotta Fluff
½ cup part-skim ricotta cheese
10 drops of Flavors2Go, or to taste
1 package sugar substitute or a few drops of Sweetzfree (that's liquid Splenda)
Optional: pinch of lemon zest
Mix the ricotta cheese, Flavors2Go and sugar substitute (and optional zest if using). Serve chilled. Garnish with a few berries if desired. Serves 1.
