Good Morning Chickies!
I am feeling these days and enjoying something fun almost daily! I missed out on summer last year and do not intend to this year!

I took the 4 grandchildren swimming yesterday and did nothing else all day! NOW that was fun! My kind of summer!

My husband took a full time job and we have some great hospitilization benefits...it is at a hospital so all of our insurance changes as of July 1st. Now that was a bit scary for me but I already have a couple Dr appointments set up with new ones to reveiw my records and have a "heads up" on my little "past" My surgeon was kind enough to call and get me in.(felt it important since my last surgery was mid April.)

I walked 2 1/2 miles this a.m. and could not feel better! Life is good! God is good!

Hoping all is well with everyone......have a great day!

PS Yes Cathy I led 10 meetings last week! Thius week my usual 5! Whew! That was better!

I try to get on here in the mornings before the kids wake up, but I have my younger brother up visiting so I have been trying to keep a 17yrold occupied along with my kids. I didn't realize how bored teenagers get! Been raining alot so we haven't been able to swim much either. Tommorow is pay day so I might take everyone to the mall. Hope everyone has a good week!

Hey all. Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I'm still alive. I've had a couple of post op problems with my knee. I started getting fluid on the knee then I got and infection so I've been out of comission for awhile but I'm getting better slowly. I actually went swimming 2 times this week at the gym. I'm down another 2 lbs. i don't know how cause I've not been OP at all!! I've been eating chocolate and everything but hey who's complaining right. Anyway I hope everyone is doing ok. I'll check back tomorrow. TOday I've got a ton of cleaning and errands to get done. My how stuff piles up! TTYL

Good morning everyone
Another great day here! Finally the last day of school, yippee!! Still have to attend DD14's year end assembly after lunch and pick up DD16"s report card.
Hubby showed up for a shower, change of clothes and breakfast and took off again, he won't make it back until Saturday sometime. At least we got a little visit in and two of the three girls got to see him.
Put streaks in B(dd16) and C(dd14) hair last night. It was suppose to be purple, but its very red! Then I remembered this morning that they still need to go in for their passport photos. At least I didn't do their whole heads

Trish, my in-laws are celebrating their 50th anniversary and father-in-law decided to take the whole family on an Alaskian cruise in August. I think there will be 17 of us. It should be fun as we are scattered throughout the province and don't see each other often. Hubby has three older sisters so that always makes for interesting dynamics!

Anyway I should tootle off here, try to do a few things before going to the school.

Take care everyone and have a wonderful day,
K

I am working today and Sunday. Tommorrow is Canada Day. Not sure what we are doing yet. Hubby is getting home tonight after being away for a week at a course. I am off Monday for the holiday.

I am working just about full time for July. Taking most of Aug off.

Have a good one everyone!

Howdy hi everyone! DH and SIL worked with this computer a bit and it seems that I'm not getting booted so much.

Been busybusybusy. I've been helping setting up appointments for a church photo directory with myneighbor. Also painting here and there. Can't do much at one time because my arms hurt.

Am fine otherwise. Nothing as changed with DD. She phoned to tall me that her uncle in Alaska died. He was 61 and I still remember him as a gangly teenager .

Gotta get outa here and comb my hairses. Neighbor is coming over to give me information about an accident. A man was killed when a number of huge (like 1500#) bales of hay crushed him.

leenie, also my moms b-day. We got a whole day planned today for her.
Buddly-Alaska sounds like a ton of fun.
gremelina-Germany sounds wonderful, I miss it at times. Have lots of fond memories.
Judomom-wasn't really on yesterday so just wanted to say Happy Birthday

Don't have much time, mom is one of those that needs lots of focus on her on her days (ie birthday, mothers day etc). If we don't she pouts, which yes I know is not healthiest thing, but I don't have the energy to deal with the pouting at the moment. I have other things that are more important, so will make her happy for today. My sister has planned both a picnic for lunch, which I have to take a salad to and a dinner tonight, which I have to make breadsticks for arghhhh That will be a lot of cooking just this morning to get everything ready and I still need to run to the grocery store to get a couple of things that I don't have. Have a blast today and I will stop in tomorrow more.

Trish-I like it here but we've been here for two years and I am getting anxious to get back home to the States to see family and friends again. i think we'll be here another year or so. Where were you at over here? We live in the State of Rheinland-Pfaltz.

I've been busy busy too..schoolwork has been killing me..Most days I wonder why I decided to go back to school for my Masters..

I hope everyone good Holidays (whichever one you are celebrating). :-)
