Good Morning Gang!

I just finished my 2 cups of coffee! YUM! Ed and Cody just left to go work, and Christian just left to go fishing so I can run thru the house buck naked if I want to! LOL LOL LOL but don't worry...I won't. Doing a little picking up and lots of clothes. My best friend from high school is in and we're going to her parents house for the afternoon to visit.

I'm going to do my 4 mile WATP dvd now, so I will check back later.

Hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

Yum, Leens. Hazelnut is one of my two favourites!! PecanRum is the other.

Hi there Cathy and April. Seems it was a quiet day here. Cathy, hope the walk went well, and April I hope your lunch was fun.

I have taken a very big step. For about 3 weeks now, I have had an appt made for this coming Wed. I am going to start working with a personal coach. She has lost 130 pounds herself, and is an amazing lady. I am joining a gym the next day, on a 3 month special. At the end of three months, I will take a look around town and see if that is indeed the gym I will stay with.

It will be somewhat a costly venture, but I figure what I put into the personal trainer would have to be spent on clothes (because I need a bigger size and have been putting off buying) and/or food I shouldn't be eating. I'm really pumped about this. The Curves thing just didn't work for me... the hours were hard to make because of my job, and who was I being accountable to? This way, I weigh, etc. once a week and everything is customized.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Oops, sorry April.. yes it is the same... a personal trainer... I think I said coach by accident because she's been working with my daughter as well.

She customizes an eating program and exercise program for your personal needs. I'll meet with her once a week.. do a weigh in, fat % count, and then she spends the rest of the hour exercising me... weights, cardio, toning, etc. She takes into account a person's fitness level (or in my case, lack of ), equipment or lack of, lifestyle, job, etc. and works out a program that works for that individual person.

The weekly visits/assessments are important because if a food program isn't working, she can be on top of it right away. If an exercise is causing trouble she can remove/replace it and correct anything going wrong.

She's a keeper. She and her hub run their centre... she charges almost 1/2 of what the gyms are charging, and doesn't put you on a "one for all" fitness plan. I really did my homework with what's available in town.

sorry for the confusion

Hey Judomom! long time no see! I'm anxious to hear all about your new endeavor! keep us posted!

Hey Lennie! which video tape did you buy? let us know how ya do!

Hey April! it's hot and sun shiney here! you could run down to Louisiana and catch some rays. But it is so hot that I'm inside. Dh is working on his mowing equipment and is ringing wet.

Sunday School and Church was really good today! then I came home and made spaghetti and we've just been hanging around. I need to fold a couple of loads of towels but came in here instead.

later gaters,
cathy

Default Thanks

I am not sure where I saw it but whoever made a note about FITday. Thanks! It was what I was looking for. I almost spent $50.00 on a program that does what this does for free. Thanks Again!
Have a great Monday everyone!
