Good Morning

I'm home today, we have well over 1 foot of snow Hubby is outside right now snowblowing so we can get out. He's such a busy body that when he's done, he will go to work. Not me, once my *** is planted on the couch and in my jamies, I'm done

Default Wow Leens A Foot?

Leens & gang
Good Morning! Wow.a foot of snow. They would declare a state of emergency if we had that here! We have a dusting and say "Look.it snowed!"

I am off work until 2:30..love those free morning.when I dont have to hurry around. I am sitting here in my long flannel gown myself!

The meeting I am working tonight had 94 last week! We process the whole thing in 1 1/2 hours.what a chore! It is an express meeting....and it is indeed!

Last week I had a cousin die and went to Ohio to a funeral.then had my daughter and 4 kids here at the house because she wasnt feeling well. So much for a weekend! I actually looked forward to Monday! Ha!

Be back later!

Enjoy the day no matter where you are and what you are doing!

I'm sitting here in my flannel gown too and I will be alllll day.

Well I am so glad that my dear buddies are sitting in their flannel pjs! ;-) wish I was too, but I'm in jeans and a big thick sweater. It was 20 here this morning in Louisiana. This is winter in Louisiana. Our 7 acres were covered with ice and it is the closest look to snow that we get.

I'm glad yall are able to take things a little slower this morning!

I was watching The Today Show this morning and they were showing all the snow. It really is beautiful if you don't have to get out and deal with it (I imagine). Did yall see where the snow plows plowed down that poor guy trying to shovel his sidewalk? those guys need to be careful in New York!

Leenie, are the schools closed there today too? are you playing on the puter this morning?

Cin, sounds like WW is going strong in your area! I'm sure their wonderful leader has something to do with that! I have several friends that started WW this month and they are having a good time! Sorry about your cousin. Sounds like your weekend had to be really busy!

I've got lots to do around here so I better get with it.

Hope the rest of our gang gets to pop in! *hint* *hint* *hint*

later gaters,
cathy

Default Good Morning Ladies

Well the weather really stinks here. Its so cold and for the past week or so we have had nothing but snow. There is about 2 1/2 feet of it on the ground because we dobn't have a long enough break for it to melt.We are in a major deep freeze.
The past night or so I have slept with socks on my feet; this is something i never do because i don't like anything on my feet.
Please someone make winter go away!!!

*hugs*
lynnie

Hey Lynnie, I am always cold, so the only time I don't have socks on my feet is during the summer when its about 90 to 100 degrees. sad but true!

Hey Leenie, I was gonna say "awwwwwww" to cleaning and laundry on your "snow day off" but since you are doing it to have the weekend off, I say "YEAAAAAAAAAA!"

ya'll stay warm up there!

hugs,
cathy

It's a pretty normal winter here...COLD! I'll take the snow over freezing rain any time.
I remember one winter when we were first out here! We got 28 inches of snow! Oy vey! Roger was outside trying to figure out what to do first when our neighbor came over with a BIG tractor equipped with a huge snow blower and WAAA-OOM, the snow was blown over to the pine trees! The noise was incredible and scared my cat, Tippy, into the closet for the day!

Nothing new going on here. It seems cabin fever is hitting some people! Ever notice that happens about this time of the year? We need summer!

Better late than never I suppose. I just finished with lunch and I had a few minutes b4 I had to get back to work.

I tried to take the dogs for a walk yesterday and boy was that funny. The puppy still had no idea how to walk on a lease. The big one would walk ok until she thought the puppy was going to walk in front of her. When she did she would pick up her pace which in turn relased the puppies lease which made her walk up faster so before I knew it we were running. I laughed the whole time. I can only imagine what people thought of it. At least I got in some exercise and so did the dogs. The mosquitos have been so bad that I can't do anything with them once I get home. I play with them inside but that just isn't the same.

Not much else going on down here but being cold. Leenie I live in my socks a sweat gear all winter long. I am a cold natured person though.

Leens don't relax to much now. I am just jealous that you get so stay home.
