Wow April, you are the early bird! or late one! I'm so glad to hear that you have been OP for 5 days! congrats!

It is beautiful here again today! 50 degrees right now. I'm drinking my 2 cups of coffee all by myself. Fixing to go out on the porch after typing this. Then I'm gonna throw on a jogging suit and go vote and then walk around my 2 mile block.

I got to chat with LindaT for about an hour last night (9 til 10 my time) but we never saw anyone else. Maybe tonight???

Hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
Cathy

Good morning! I was so exhausted yesterday after getting the stress test, I could hardly stay awake! I had to drive in myself since R was already in that city doing some testing. He met me at the institute and helped me get my electric cart out of the truck. He also came over afterwards to put it back in the truck.

Since I'm currently one shoed, it's difficult for me to maneuver. I had to walk to the truck in pouring rain with one foot in a sock, so I wrapped it in a plastic bag! Well, I can't differenciate cold with wetness and half way to the turck I discovered that I had lost my plastic! Fortunately, my sock is heavy wool so it wicked well and didn't feel wet at all. I blotted it with a rag and got the test done.

BTW, the specialist can't figure out why my heart goes into atrial fibrillation when it does! I don't wake quickly...usually I take a bit to wake. I'm not startled! Yet, for some reason it will go nuts between 4:00 and 6:00AM!

Tippy, what a mess trying to get to your tests yesterday! girl no wonder you were exhausted! I wish I could have been there to help you! I really do!

How are you feeling today?

I went and voted, came back and walked for 30 minutes, swept the garage and porches for 15 minutes, did handweights for 15 minutes and then 40 situps.

Now I have all my windows open (you don't get to do that much in Louisiana), have all my good smelling candles lit and smelling so good, have some wonderful contemporary praise & worship music playing (I dont like the boring stuff lol) and I am just having the best ole time all by myself!

what's everybody else up to today?

Hi Gang,
Sounds like we are all home today! I drove today.Went to the gas station and Walmart. Came home.took a pain pill and napped! Ha! Exciting...huh?

The pain is much less each day...still a bit awkward. I am planning on working 6 meetings before getting the stitches out Thurs.

I wrote pretty well.made a flip chart this morning. I think I will manage.

I shopped for a new cordless answering machine caller i.d. phone.....looked for about 1/2 hr..decided on one then changed my mind and didnt buy one.Want to shop around more.

Tippy....sorry you are having continued health problems........you are tough though! I hope they can figure out what is causing the problem.

I went to chat at 9 my time last ight and ask if Cathy had been there....they said no...............I will check tonight.

Later taters

Hi everyone...

I really would honestly like to offer encouragement but today I don't have it in me. I haven't been doing well. I'm on the rag which means any thought of trying to exercise or eat sensibly has gone completely out the window... today I had some friends over and we decided that pasta with alfredo sauce and garlic cheese toast was a wonderful idea. Of course I didn't watch my portion sizes or anything... and it's been like that all week. Plus I've got the hormonal thing going on where I think everything is a *much* bigger deal than it is. (Today's lesson: do NOT wax your eyebrows when hormonal *and* upset!!)

I feel sad... I've felt sad for a week... and I'm ready for this to be over so I can move on and not feel sad and tired all the time. I'm sorry I'm a little black raincloud today. I just wanted to post *something* on 3FC somewhere so I could convince myself that I haven't completely abandoned hope and that someday I can do it. I just need to figure out how.

Lynnie good job trying to stay on track...those bars sound good!

Tippy sounds like you had quite a struggle in the rain....hope the doc gets to the bottom of things....interesting how your heart is most affected at night........I will ask one of the ER docs about that....I know a lot of MI's happen early in the morning....something to do with our body rhythms....hope you are feeling 100% real soon!
