Exclamation Gained the weight back, ugh!

Back in March of this year I weighed around 119lbs. This morning I weighed myself and I am 130! Ugh. It's really frustrating. I've noticed that I've lost a lot of muscle, and have gained a lot of fat. Mind you, the past 6 months I tried starving myself and ended up gaining the weight instead. The past week almost every day I have been binging (around 10k calories a day) because I am not sure how much I should be eating, and my mind snaps once I put food in my mouth and I want to eat more. I'm lost, confused, and I would like to switch things around to get back down to my goal. Originally I was at 1,500 calories a day, plus biking/swimming for an hour and on days that I didn't do that I was lifting dumb bells. I got discouraged because I noticed once I got closer to my goal weight it was taking longer to lose it... Irony is I was starving myself because I thought it might help me lose the weight, but with the stress my body went into Starvation Mode and held onto the pounds.

Red face Take a break to get out of starvation mode

That sounds very frustrating!

I have gained back over fifty pounds at one point myself because of stress and terrible eating habits. I'm not sure what would help for you but personally the way I got over it and started going back to a healthy weight was to forget exercising and focus on eating clean and wholesome without really counting calories. I didn't sit like a lump but I went for walks instead of doing intense work outs and then worked my way back up. Lost twenty pounds doing it.

I hope you can overcome this obstacle, stay focused on your goal!

Sounds like you need some structure. Start by researching different diet plans to find one that will work for you. Then, focus, focus, focus!
