Help? weight gain all of a sudden?
 

Hello,
1 week back i checked my weight and it was 103 lb and when i checked it now it showed me 112 lb.I am shocked because of the sudden weight gain..why is this happening?

It could be water weight, or did you eat something with a lot of salt in it? It could also be hormonal, are you around your menstrual cycle? I fluctuate sometimes 5 lbs in one day if it's due to a lot of these things, if I ate a lot that day and it's around my period, stuff like that.

@citygirl89 yes i am around my menstrual cycle, and yesterday i ate a dish which had a lot of salt.So will my weight be back to normal again?

It's definitely possible. Drink a lot of water today to flush out your system and I'm sure you'll be back closer to your normal weight in no time.

Of course! Hope you're doing alright, I know I get frustrated when I weigh myself at night and I feel noticeably heavier :(

Are you on a medication? Are you depressed? If you are taking any kind of antidepressant or something like that and you are experiencing weight gain, consult your doctor as soon as possible. Weight gain may be caused due to various reasons.
