Default depressed and lost control: how can I break this pattern?

Dear ladies,

I got stressed out, depressed, angry, and I lost control :-(.

I drank alcohol to calm my nerves, and ate cake to comfort myself. I also ate pasta in a total I-give-up mode :-(.

So today I'm very tired, with a hangover, and gained 600g.

I also stopped with my teethwhitening, started drinking coffee again, and didn't even care abut brushing my teeth and taking my makeup off before bed. So the teeth whitening efforts are wasted, and my skin is horrible.

:-( :-( :-(

I know I have to get back on track, but feel so fragile...

Something really helpful that I heard once that I use to remind myself, even if the reminder is a tiny little voice, is that it is NEVER too late to start over. We may think that because for breakfast we ate a danish, a cup of coffee, and a breakfast burrito, we can screw up the rest of the day, because we think that day is already lost. Not true. First of all, breakfast would be the best binge meal because we need the get up and go anyway for the day. But after all that energy (bad or good) has burned off, we're hungry again, but we don't NEED to eat crap. We can drink a ton of water, we can run a few laps. Even if we've eaten crap that day, we can ALWAYS do something to remedy it.

As for the teeth whitening and the skin thing--I am RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. I'll get lazy and just not care about myself. Alcohol or weed makes me feel good in that moment so I run to it. I'm ashamed of it, but I won't deny it. We just have to remember, it is NEVER to late to start over. NEVER. It is ALWAYS a good time to start again.

I hope you're feeling better. =)

Do not feel bad Lumia. It happens to most of us. I, myself has a hard time saying no to delicious food and special treats. I always tell myself that I would just have a taste but I end up eating more than I initially planned. This is why I have always been struggling with my weight. My weight loss has always been 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Its a battle that I know I can never win, until I started taking Liproxenol, which came highly recommended by an Aunt who has a problem with her thyroids and couldn't control her increasing weight either. Now, my weight loss is no longer a struggle. The appetite suppression effect was incredible. And my weight started shifting in about 2 weeks. I hope you can benefit from this too Lumia. Cheers!
