Hypnosis for anxiety

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone could share their experience with being hypnotized.

I've recently been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and my main way of coping with it is binge eating and over eating/emotional eating. Well...just eating period LOL

So my doctor recommended a therapist to kind of dig deeper into the issue. So on my second appointment the therapist recommended hypnosis.

Im opened to anything really but I hear mixed reviews on it. I would love to hear more about it if you are willing share

I've had hypnosis for depression and anxiety by a licensed hynotherapist, and it was quite helpful. I also found a series of apps for the iPod/iPhone that are very well done and like that I can do those any time I feel like it.
