Prozac, St Johns Wort, or Wellbutrin for weight loss?

I've been on prozac for 3 years now, for me it's been pretty weight neutral, but it has done wonders for my binging, depression and anxiety.
I think it might be pooping out though..not working as well anymore.

Wellbutrin also was horrible for me, I felt psychotic. St. Johns Wort didn't really do much.
I guess I'm lucky none of them have made me gain weight, that would have made me more depressed!

Well, my boyfriend bought me SJW and I never tried it. I finally (with the help of doctors) weaned myself off of Prozac. The weight gain was terrible for me too. (I went from 160 to 190 in two months). I'm now struggling to lose even a pound. Maybe the SJW would jump start it for me? Anyway, I'm glad I read this, I don't feel so alone about medications now.

Just shows how everyone is so different! I asked my doctor for something other than Lexapro, I was still having bad thoughts and the weight was piling on. Wellbutrin allowed me to at least try to start a diet and exercise regimen, where before I couldn't. So yes I have lost weight while taking Wellbutrin.

I am on Prozac, and after the battle I had finding a medication that works, i don't know that I could ever change it. I haven't had trouble with the weight coming off, well none that could be caused by the prozac at least. Best of luck with your loss!
