GOAL WEIGHT: I'd be really happy to get back down to at least 180. I was doing GREAT a couple of years ago but have been through a rough patch and gained weight again

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: I'll be eating healthy and exercising for a few weeks at a time... then sometimes spiral downward if I'm feeling particularly bad about myself/am stressed out
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I've really come to recognize when I'm feeling vulnerable. Instead of feeding my bad feelings with food I've learned to do other things such as take a nice bath, walk, play with animals, talk to someone I love, etc. I also know that I don't have to COMPLETELY deprive myself of "treats." Everything in moderation
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?: I strive to be nice to others. I'm hard on my own self at times but I just want other people struggling with their issues to know that they are only human. We all make mistakes and that you should forgive yourself (and others) and be KIND to yourself! You are you regardless of how much you weigh
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Inconsiderate people, you know the ones who realize you are on a diet, trying to get healthy and they insist on eating a 5 guys hamburger in front of you.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I have 20 good people at work who are looking out for me, helping me make my goals.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I am not afraid to discuss my bi-polar and depression. I believe the more we who have it speak about it only helps the world understand we are not bad people. In fact, sometimes we see things more clearly than "normal" people.

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Self-sabotage & emotional eating risk when a depressive episode combines with stressful circumstances.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I'm not dieting. I refuse to berate myself with guilt trips for the occasional binge. I went for counselling to solve other problems in my life, and new self-respect grew from that, which makes me want to treat myself well. I've been doing Intuitive Eating, gentle exercise, and little lifestyle changes (officially) since 10 Dec 2012, and have lost 11lbs. I'm on here because of a 3-donut, 2-mars bar binge that I had last night. I'm under a lot of stress just now which I can usually handle, but when this combines with a brain-storm of suicidal proportions, I need some help. For once I'm willing to be kind enough to myself to talk to others who understand, and let that support help me through the hard times, back to where I want to be. Plus, I know myself much better these days, and while I technically have no willpower, I have a lot more perseverance which will help me get back up when I get knocked down

I have a son who is recently diagnosed with special needs. I stay home and care for him full time. I am on the back burner. I Have scoliosis, chondromalasia patella, fibromyalgia, rheumatism, anxiety and depression. I am so stressed my weight has rocketed. I am not on any meds atm....

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: food allergies, desire to eat extremely bad/fatty foods instead of healthy ones, not always being able to work out because I work 12 hour days and often commute to a job in another city (2 hours each way!)

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? I'm working hard to overcome depression/a history of eating problems with mainly emotional causes. Also, I may be a lawyer but I'm not sleazy! I love the work I do, although I hardly make any money.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I have decided to make a commitment to my health. It is hard to maintain the same motivation and energy it takes to lose weight, but I will stay focused on the overall outcome, not the little mistakes I make along the way. I will remind myself to "not sweat the small stuff".
