WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: my "perfectionist" / all or nothing attitude. I'm a "perfectionist" at everything I do - and if I have one day that's NOT perfect, I tend to say, "ok, well i already screwed up..." and go for broke. My other issues are I'm just not NEARLY as motivated as I used to be, and stress (over $$$ especially) makes things even WORSE. :-(
This and also CHOCOLATE AND SUGAR!!!! I know it's bad for me, and i NEED to cut it down but it's so hard. I WILL do it though.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: These boards. I really need to come here and listen to all the great advice and know that i'm NOT doing this alone. Plus, I am planning on creating myself a new journal for my 27th year of life!
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? Well, I turn 27 on the 29th of August. I am planning on really honestly trying to make a full year journal for my "27th year of life" which will include all of my exercise tracking, hopefully my points tracking (i'm on weight watchers...or need to be lol), my walking (i really want to start walking), my TaeKwonDo Training, and it'll be a day by day / week by week / month by month journal - and much more stuff. I'm excited. I have about 2 1/2 weeks to "create" or at least START creating this book. I know I'm not PERFECT but I've got to realize it's about PERSISTANCE not PERFECTION!!!!
Also - I hit my goal of 160 two years ago. I maintained my 60 pound weight loss for a good 6 months - then the holidays of 2004 came and i gained back 10 lbs :-( i WAS in a size 9/10 ... life happened and i also gained another 10 on top of the FIRST 10 LAST year...(2005) - i've lost that 10 but put back on 5 - so I'm sitting on a total "gain" of 15 pounds from my lowest 2 years ago. I WAS down to 160 and a size 9/10 and i'm back up to 175 size 12/13/14. I also went from 220 to 160 in high school and back up to 220 in college (and thus hit the goal of 160 two years ago).
