Smile Finally Found a Med that works for Me!!!

I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar I and Borderline Personality Disorder from childhood trauma in 2006. I had tried almost ever Med under the sun and just kept ballooning up in size. I was already over weight. I weighed 222 but I gained up to 307 taking Depokote and Lithium at different times and it didn't help me to feel well again. I know these drugs work well for others and I am not downing them. But they just didn't help me.

I was prescribed Geodon as a last effort and was told it was weight neutral. After a couple of weeks I feel like a new person. I am considering getting a part time job after being unemployed since 2006. I am much happier and love going out in public again. I don't have the horrible anxiety, panic disorder and mood swings that were crippling me.. I am looking forward to my life now. Also an added bonus is I am losing weight on this Med. I thank God daily for this change in my life. Just a couple of weeks ago I was suicidal and ready to give up.

I am a better Wife, Mother, Daughter, and Friend. I just want to give some hope to anyone that is struggling that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes I felt like I was never going to be able to function normally again . I thought my life was over. But It has just begun!!! Thanks for listening!!! I just had to share.

That's so wonderful! I work for the company that makes Geodon, I've seen first hand just how much having the "right" drug for you makes all of the difference!
