hi everyone!
i've been a member of 3fc for a couple weeks now, but thought i would join up with you guys too. i've suffered from depression since i was about 13. in the last couple years i've added anxiety disorder on top of that. i've never had any success with anti-depressants so i'm meds-free for now. lately my depression has been under control. i do find that i do better when i don't focus on the fact that i suffer from depression, but i do have a habit of pretending my condition doesn't exist when i'm going through an ok time...but it always comes back.at least to some extent.depression has always been a huge obstacle in my weight loss endeavours as well as, obviously everything in life. anyways, i just wanted to say hi. i'm really excited to be on 3fc, it's the first truly new thing i've tried in terms of weight loss and i love how there's this section just for depressive people to have a place to turn. look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome, jiggles! You have certainly come to the right place - the girls here are amazing and will certainly give you the boost you need. They've given me the incentive to really give this a try, and I know they can for you, too.

I was extremely treatment resistant for years and year, and tried just about every a/d out there. Finally I found that a combination works for me and I'm sticking with it. Basically, I take meds for my family and co-workers - I'm pretty horrible without them!
