YAY!!! *does the happy dance* I'm getting a psychiatrist! I don't know when or where I'll have to go but I'm getting one and that's all that matters!

Don't take the run around you've been given by you health care providers personally. I've just been diagnosed bipolar after years of illness and misdiagnosis, and even a proper diagnosis doesn't always make it easy to access resources. I can tell you it does get better with time and attention! I hope things go well for you.

if you feel you need meds then go to a doctor and talk to them about getting meds dont suffer.. BUT i am bipolar and i have not been on meds in years ( i have been bipolar sense childhood) . i function quite well and i have structured my life to where i can live happly and have a great life without them... i still swing but i dont need meds... everyone is different...

I NEED Meds... but I know I'll be getting them as soon as I get with my new psychiatrist person... Thanks for the support and stuff!
