Sassy: Yay! Vacation!

Leenie: What's news with you?

Amarie:Congrats on the weight loss!!

Dinner was interesting. I swear my aunt is obsessed with Red, Hot & Blue (especially their cobbler.) I met some relatives I didn't really know before, my mom's cousin and her husband.

She's a sweetheart. He comes off as kind of a jerk, but I think he means well. (He decided that he'd educate us a bit about religion and politics.)

I'm gonna get an ache in my arm patting myself on the back, though. I exercised brillian portion control and completely skipped dessert! I was physically so satisfied with dinner that when it came to the cobbler, I realized I didn't need it and it would probably make me too full. I decided not to eat something that would make me uncomfortable later, even if it was yummy and everyone else was having it. There would be other opportunities for dessert and I didn't need dessert right then.

Now... it's getting late. I'm going to go bike (I'll be much better with studying after my exercise) and then work on my classes.

Whew! I'm beat. Biology really wipes me out... it puts my brain to the test and then I just wanna collapse in a puddle and watch cheesy sitcoms.

Hi all,

Long day... Tax class from 9-12, work from 12:15-9:15PM. I'm so ready for bed and just brain dead.

Twilit, I need to try the workout-then-study method. Something needs to help. on skipping the cobbler!

Momof4: feelin any better?

Amarie: Congrats on the scale moving!

Heather??? You ok??

Sassy: Hope you have fun and do lots of resting.

Buddly: I hope this passes quickly for you.

Ladybug: good to see you.

Leenie: We'll miss you.

Night Night

Thanks ladies

This morning was really rough for me, but thankfully work actually helped get me out of my mind for a bit. And then tonight I had to go to a meet the teachers night at ddC's school. It was so slow at work, which is so boring. I was scrubbing cooler doors just for something to do.
Thankfully my tooth doesn't hurt as much as I expected and I can eat. The gland in my throat went down over night, but its all swollen and sore tonight, so I'm hoping the lymph nodes are just doing their job and there isn't an infection.
I have to take DdC to the orthopedic surgeon tomorrow morning at 8am. We should find out what will happen next and how long she will be out for. And then its work at 11. The fun never stops.

I should get going, I'm tired (emotional roller coasters are exhausting!) and hubby just got home, he didn't make it home last night.

Take care everyone and have a wonderful Friday!

Hi, Everybody!

Hope, I totally recommend getting at least a little activity in before homework/essays/studies/tests. Studies done on adolescents show that they perform better on tests after going outside and getting exercise. Even chewing gum has some positive effect on academic performance.

Basically, moving the body gets the blood flowing, which means more oxygen to the brain. The result is better concentration and cognitive skills.

I've got a test in Biology today, so wish me luck (and O2)

Tera: How did the test go? Hopefully good. I'm sure I do need to move more. I'm so sleepy all the time from the early hours, the overeating, and the lack of exercise. I usually feel like crap and it's going down hill. People at work have been telling me how tired I look for the last week.

Sassy:I liked Mr Brooks too.

Buddly: glad you are feeling a little better. Do you work this weekend?

Hi everybody else. Check in tomorrow. Gotta shower and go to bed.
