my crockpot takes about 18 apples (I used Ida Red) cored but not peeled

cook on low over night, then using your immersion blender, blend and taste, if not sweet enough add sweetner of your choice (I used 1/4 cup agave nectar). Now with the lid off and crockpot on high cook for as long as it takes to make a thick apple butter (it takes me about five hours), you should see the bottom of the crockpot when you draw your wooden spoon thru. I keep it in a empty two kilo peanut butter jar from Costco in the fridge.
