but but but - according to Fitday, real brown sugar has only 9 calories and 2 grams of carb for the same measurement packed.
Sounds like a bit of a rip-off to me.

Splenda Brown Sugar blend is a mixture of Splenda and real brown sugar. It would not be allowed on SBD. You can make brown sugar from Splenda and SF maple syrup (see Splenda website). Or I use Sugar Twin Brown Sugar substitute

Brown sugar contains a small amount of molasses. It's basically all sugar. I couldn't find the exact nutritional information on line. Check the back of the bag or box when you are the store next time to find out for sure.

I've tried the sugar twin brown sugar and wasn't impressed at all. But then again, I don't like sugar twin so maybe it's just my taste buds.

The carbs in real brown sugar are all sugar - molasses is a sugar. It's made from sugar cane too.
