okay everyone...i'm officially in now...now that the holidays are over. I weighed myself on Saturday as it's the day i'm going to try and be the most consistent for weighing in...luckily no change since i originally posted. The other good news is that i'm back on a routine for going to the gym. My life was very busy for November and December making me only get to the gym once per week.
As i said earlier, i lost 15 pounds with the help of a valentine's challenge in this forum last year and the south beach diet. I have been able to keep it off since then and hoping to lose 10 pounds by valentine's...so bring on the games!
wow...i can't believe how quiet it's been on here! I've been away on business for two days and let me tell you, it was quite hard making the right choices, but i ALMOST stuck to it. I gave in on dinner last night and had a diet coke and chocolate mousse...if only i hadn't have been so hungry!
I haven't been to the gym in three days so haven't had time to weigh myself, though tomorrow will be an official week that i've been on the DIET!!!
Wow! IT sounds like everyone here is doing pretty good! It is really quiet here but it sound like we are working hard!!! *Fist raised in victory!* Yay for us!!!!
Everyone is doing so well!! I'm down 2.6 lbs this week!! I still have 7lbs to lose in 4.5 weeks. I'm hoping to say goodbye to the 180s forever by next Sunday.
so i made it to the gym today and weighed myself both before and after my spinning class...no change! arghhh...
however, on the upside i do feel a difference in the way my clothes are sitting on me...or rather falling off of me.
my two week stint on SBD, phase 1 finishes officially next Sunday but i have a friend from out of town visiting on the weekend so may have to finish early...hopefully i will be able to get myself back on track...
Today didn't start off too well...must've been the snow we finally got!
I tried to eat breakfast but even though it looked really good, I had two bites and was totally turned off. Every once and again I have an egg aversion and I never know when it's going to make an appearance...well, as a result I didn't have breakfast at all. Lunch and dinner were good but I snuck in two Baci Balls as a treat...hopefully it didn't make a difference. As well, I ended up not going to the gym...i can only hope that maybe the scale will play in my favour this weekend.
Well, I'm sorta late signing on to this challenge, but I'm going to look at it from the standpoint that mini-goals are always great. I should definitely be able to do at least 10 pounds by Valentine's Day.
Okay, I am here to check in. I lost 3 this week, for a total of 6 since the 1st. I am going to start excersicing today. Eatting, for the most part has been well. Once a week I still go crazy and go get something terrible for me at the fast food joint, but I try to be "good" the rest of the time.
I'm down 2 more lbs this week, so I have 4.8lbs to go to meet my goal for this challenge. DH is coming home on the 30th and I have to stay focused when he gets home. He's going to want all of his favorite foods but I'm going to stay OP.
Well...things only got worse this week. Work was quite stressful and then a friend visited from out of town, so not horrible eating, but a few glasses of wine were consumed. The only good thing is that when I weighed myself yesterday, I haven't put on any weight, but haven't loss either.
I did buy a bathing suit for my trip and it only made me realize that I need to start doing some weight training. That is what I'm going to start focusing on...in addition to being more vigilant with my healthy eating. I think things will get better this week.
I was wondering if it is too late to join the challenge. Valentine's Day is my one-year anniversary with my husband (and our eighth "together" year). I just joined weight watchers last week and I have been doing great with it so far. I need to step up my exercise and a challenge is just what might do it for me. How much are you all trying to lose by then? I have 23 days!
I'm in!! I would like to loose as much as possible while staying healthy (1 - 2 pounds a week). I have a great video from Weight Watchers that has three different workouts. I have been working out everyday for the past week. I weigh in on Wednesday. In the past, I've been on a see-saw between a 22 and 24. I want to get off of that see-saw once and for all!!
Hi, I'd like to join too! let's do it for valentines day LOVE= love for ourselves and our bodies I have hated my body for so long now, that i am trying to really see' myself in the mirror, put on that make up-- tho before i would never do it--all to fake it until i make it hahah! I want to lose 10 lbs by feb 14.
I also stick with safe food, i just get nervous that if i eat out too much i';ll go off track.
It is never too late to join. I am half way to goal. I didn't REALLY set a weight to loose, but a size challenge. I just donated all my 24's and 22's! I am in 20's now. My 2nd waredrobe is 18's. So, I am almost there! I tossed all my too big panties and my ill fitting bras. I bough new bras this week and will be undies shopping around Valentines day! Woo Hoo!
