Hello Ladies, Glad to see every one is doing great. I have not gained or lost so I figure that is a good thing lol.
I have not started to exercise yet just havnt had the time (EXCUSESSSSSS) I have had lots on my plate and I am in the middle of packing because I am moving end of Sept. but there is so much to do. I bought a couch and 2 chairs at garage sale and I need to recover them before I move I need to downsize a bit go thruogh clothes and junk and maybe that will be a load or 2 less to move lol.
I am going to start back to Curves Sept. 11th and go 3 times a week I have made myself promise that I can not go home after work till I have gone to Curves mondays, wednesdays and fridays. I know what to do I just need to do it, but I feel over whelmed to much to do so little time. Does any one else feel like this???

Updated Tickers
I updated my tickers to reflect my true weight.
Karma- Oh, girl. I am so sorry that you are feeling this down. If at all possible, try to remember this feeling... if you remember that you felt this bad from being off-plan, eating whatever you wanted, maybe it will help you stay with your resolution. That's awful about your birthday, I'm so sorry... Happy Birthday from me!
Annie- Lol about your lying scale. My digital takes a few seconds to climb up to the real number, so I have to be good and take whatever number it ends on.
Ice- There are definitely times when I have felt overwhelmed with all that I have to do, especially related to weight loss. Is there any way that you can gently ease yourself in? I know you said you start curves again in a couple weeks, but what about something in the mean time? Would you consider making a commitment to yourself to take a walk around the neighborhood on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays starting today? If you're already doing some exercise, the transition back to curves may be easier when the time comes. Just a thought.
And, for the grand finale, even with all the scale confusion, I think I lost 2.5 pounds this week! Go me!

HELP!!! I have fallen off the wagon and I must have whacked my head pretty hard because I cant for the life of me get back on! Someone please kick me in the butt. My weight is going up and I'm upset about it, but whenever I'm around food I'm shoveling it in. Any words of wisdom, or just a smack in the head to get me back on track would be really useful right now.

Stupid Scales
Well I gained half a pound. Which is okay I am alright with that. two stick of butter. I was afraid that I would gain more because I lose so much last week. I have a tendency to do that when I lose alot in the week.
But I am on it now. I am happy I am back to what I weighed in High School 280 I can dig it. Now I have 90lbs to do it and I AM GOING TO. I want to lose for my trip out west in the spring. So I can have a really good fun vacation.
Jennifer
Hope you ladies are staying on the wagon...
GET BACK ON THAT WAGON LADIES!!!

This is for Artsy, Scooter, Karma27, MYSELF!!!, and the rest of us who need our asses kicked!
What are we doing??? We are sabatoging(sp) ourselves!!! We need to TAKE CONTROL OF OUR SELVES, CRAVINGS, BINGEING, .... We need to be honest with ourselves, we want to be healthy, thinner, happier!!!! Picture the day when you go and buy that beautiful holiday dress!!! When you want to gorge or not excersize or not eat well think about the rest of us struggling right along with you! I'm struggling, Ice Princess, DeafinlySmart, Owira, Annie, Smoldering, JennyDee, and 35 OTHERS!!! We all wake up every morning and make decisions...we choose to eat fruit or we choose to eat a doughnut or an egg McMuffin! We then go on and decide to eat tuna or chicken for lunch or....we have a slice of pizza or a burger.......Then dinner....and its kids, husbands, boyfriends, friends....Thats not even talking about getting or asses up and walking, running, doing our tapes...We are all Struggling day by day...hour by hour. Each craving, each meal is a challenge, a battle...The food is our enemy...Sadly just like any other endulgence...alchol, drugs, over spending, debt, ect. Its an addiction, thats how I see it. Something that takes ahold of our thoughts or moods...when I'm craving chocolate or fastfood I'll do just about anything to get them...its sickening when I think about it. But i'm being honest with you all to let you know that I myself struggle with this every day. I am here for you when you are reaching for the "one more piece" for the no no food, for that chemically filled fast food. Your sucess is my sucess, we need to do this together!
Christmas is going to come no matter what and I am here and now pledging that when it does come I will be THINNGER!!!!, HEALTHIER!!!, and HAPPIER!!!!
Put this Pledge into your Siggy and read it everyday!
We can do this girls we can do this!

Thighs / Shorts
This is NewDay4MeToo
Boy, can I relate!! My daughter just dropped a new pair of Cabella's shorts off at the house cause they were too small for the guy that got them, but they were too big for her or her husband. Great shorts. I tried them on. -- Mens size 42 -- but they fit so nice and were so comfortable. The length and cut was such that they didn't rub wrong and creep up on the inside of my thighs. It was great!! Never had a pair of shorts that didn't ride up like that. Now . . . if I was thinner, maybe none of them would!! Hmmmm . . . maybe someday.

Okay I'd like to join this challenge.
Since I visited the forums last I've packed on 9 pounds and I've had enough of this.
I really want to get this weight off again and get back to where I was a year ago.

Hey
Hi everyone,
I just got back from dinner with my husband. Well, he is a navy recruiter and works about 80 hours a week. He was off 1/2 day today so we decided after I worked out that we would go out to eat. He wanted Mexican. BIG BIG Mistake. I didn't make a smart choice because there really isn't anything smart about mexican food. I did however only have about 10 chips and opt'd out of the rice and beans and ended up with chicken quesadillas. I am on the Atkins and I hope this doesn't bring back cravings. urrrgh!!!!! Oh well, I am back on the wagon starting now so I don't mess up the 5 pounds that I have lost this month since I started.
Hope everyone is doing better than me. Keep up the hard work and try to stay OP!!!!
Welcome Chaarli!!!!
Becky264, I can relate. I wish I could find a pair of shorts I was comfortable in. I don't even wear shorts anymore. I wear jeans all summer.
TREE: As always, thanks for the encouragement and the great post and positive motivation. I will re-read that over and over again between now and Christmas. Curves is waiting for ya. That is where I go three times a week and I absoulutely love it. Take a deep breath and you will get through the next month - just hang in there.
Jelly, You are probably losing pounds chasing those kids around.
Scooter, Congrats on weighing what you did in High School. That is superb and I know it makes you feel wonderful. Way to go!
Artsygirl, You have done such a great job thus far. Don't beat yourself up too much and get back on track. WE CAN DO THIS!!!! That is your whack up side the head to get back on track. LOL
NewDay4meto: With all that - congrats on the 2.5 weightloss. YOU did it!!!!!
Annie, hope you can get some unstressful days in soon. Sorry about your neck. When i get stressed I break out on my neck - with these horrible rashes that itch like poison ivy. Hang in there.
HAPPY Belated Karma27!!!!!!!! Sorry your having a bad day. Tomorrow hopefully will be better.
smolderingvixen and oiwa - both of you crack me up. I love to read your stories. You get me through my day.
Anyone else I missed, sorry and I hope everyone has a great night.
WE CAN DO THIS - together

i would volunteer to kick someone in the butt ..but i am not allowed to do that just yet .. i will catch ya next week if ya still need one :P which i doubt ya will .. *looks around at all the violence in the area!*
and glad to kno ya just wanted to exercise cause ya kno sometimes other forms of exercise *coughs* can help ya sleep
ok day two with my friendly chiropractor .. ooooo .. i like him more and more every day ..but i don't have to see him til friday ..which will be my last visit .. btw .. i didn't know ya neck could pop that much or that loud! oy! but ahhhhhhhh
well it seems that my TOM has decided to pay an early visit this time.. a whole week! .. lucky me?! .. i won't make my weigh in tomorrow at WW's .. my son has a football game an hour or so away .. which is just as well since the friendly visitors have dropped in unexpectedly.. but good news is i haven't splurged or caved on the craving front .. what i thought were just normal withdrawals was full PMS attack .. and i survived it .. more importantly .. no family members were injured this round! yay!
catch ya next time chickers! keep on cluckin!

Today is Good!
Hey Guys !!
I have been reading and following along this week, but today I thought I'd share with you, cause it feels so good!! I started my WW on Sunday, thinking I really have to get serious. I got on the scale this morning and have lost 6 pounds since Sunday - and its Thursday. I have been very careful, very good, but even allowed myself a cup of hot cocoa and a piece of toast/butter last night! Anyway, I know this rate of losing won't keep up, but I can only wish . . . Anyway - nice to share this with someone who knows how I feel.
