Default Labor Day Challenge

Hello!

This is some sort of follow up to Weekend Boater 's Memorial Day Challenge.

From the original Challenge:
"Just state what it is that you would like to accomplish by memorial day, it can be a weight loss goal or a non weight loss goal such as inches lost or it can be that your just trying to start out and still having a tough day one and making it about day one, it can be about wanting to quit night time snacking or desserts or soda, or whatever you choose!

Post as often as you like, It is at those times that we can get help, there is no failure here! We are all striving to be a better us! "

Since today is a Thursday (June 1st) I'll leave it up to you weather you want to start on the previous (Monday, May 29th) Monday or the following (Monday, June 5th).

Labor day is Monday, September 4th!

Good Luck to everyone! Let's make the best out of these weeks!

Thank you for starting this daydreamer!! The weight loss portion of my goal is kind of lofty since it has been slowing down, but I am going to try my hardest. For non scale goals I would like to be able to come close to buttoning up my size 12 jeans, stop drinking diet drinks, have no more binges, and finally I would like to increase my activity. Good luck to everyone who joins!!

SW 203.2
GW 180

6/1: 203.2

daydreamer have you figured out what you would like your goals to be yet?

Thanks Daydreamer!

I'm halfway to the 50lb mark and I can't wait to make it like so many of you! Losing 24lbs this challenge would mean the world to me. So far I've had an easy time of it, starting out so heavy and making a drastic change gets results pretty quickly. I'm afraid of the plateaus to come, but seeing the amount of fight these folks have in them, even when the going gets tough....I'm hoping some of that will rub off on me.

So happy to be here with you darlings. We're gonna do this!

I just found this thread and this is a great idea! Thank you Daydreamer!

My goal is to lose 3 inches off my waist by Labor Day. I will do this by making smart food choices and exercising. I will post a little diary of my exercise, and measure once a month.

Beginning waist measurement: 42 in.
Goal waist measurement: 39 in.

June 9 - completed first week with alternating weights and cardio. I exercised for about 20 minutes every day with 2 rest days.
June 16 - did my exercises 3 out of the planned 5 days, had two rest days, two cheat days, and got up to 8000 steps/day this week.
June 23 - did 5 exercise days/2 rest days - 2 cardio, 2 weights, 1 yoga; added a probiotic supplement; eating limited carbs and almost no sugar.
June 30
Measure:
July 7
July 14
July 21
July 28
Measure:
August 4
August 11
August 18
August 25
Measure:
Sept. 1
Sept. 4 (Labor Day)
Total loss:
