Sorry I don't post much. My work throughout May and June into the beginning of July is crazy with barely a day off. I'm hoping to be around and able to chat more once work quietens down a bit.
I did have a question though... I'm only 0.2kg from my initial goal. Once we reach it do we make a new one or just carry on going and make a new goal at the beginning of a new month? My weigh ins are all on the first page as I have about 5 minutes in the mornings to log in and update...
This has been a very slow month for me. There are a couple challenges that I am in and early on I was on track to make goal, but now there is no way I will. It is disappointing, but I have not been as disciplined as I should be. Yesterday was a day/night long binge, by far the worst I have had in 6 months. I feel absolutely miserable today.
Ophelia I am sorry to hear that you will need your gallbladder removed and I am really hoping that they are correct and it is a cyst. I hope that your move is as stress free as possible and that you can get settled in relatively quickly. Good luck!

MumofMany: Hoping things start to quiet down a little for you soon! As for the goal, it's mostly up to you. Some people just call goal and take any losses after that as a bonus for the month, and some people will add a second, smaller goal as a "Part Two" to the original goal. Whichever you'd rather do!
kfunk6113: I'm sorry you're feeling so blah today after your binge yesterday...days like that can take a toll on you both physically and mentally. Try not to beat yourself up about it too much though, because - as cliché as it sounds - today is a new day to do things differently! I am hoping the rest of the month and next month goes easier for you, as well. And, thank you for all the well wishes!
It's been a few days since I checked in again...sorry about that. Had some fluctuations the past couple of days, but still ended up at 222.6 today, which is 3.6 lbs down for Week Three. So, that helped balance out my less than stellar week last week. Hoping to stay as consistent as possible through the rest of the month!

Wow. I'm amazed. In the past month I have gone out of town for a graduation and on vacation. I stayed on my diet well enough that not only did I not gain weight as I usually do, but a few days later I weigh less than I did before I went on the trips. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks.
