Weigh-in was 230.6 today. Did a 6 mile walk last night and tried a little interval jogging towards the end...still not able to do it for very long bursts, but I had a lot more stamina for it than I thought I would have already, so I think I might start incorporating little bits here and there more often to see if I can build up to a decent jog.

Hello all waving all around, been a bit MIA and I am sorry. I have been keeping up on recording at my spot on page 1.

I may make a whole 1lb loss for the month yet..(snicker snicker sarcasm here)
Exercise I am on Round 2 Week 1 completed day 2 so I am pumped up since I will be doing the 'extra credit' each day I am able this round.

I have to say I think this group is looking good despite a few days of >oh what have I done now< weigh in's

I will try to get personals in this week I have so many questions and comments to all of you.

Thank you for the words of encouragement Ophelia and kfunk!! You guys are right, I'm still going to be proud of my 8 or 9 pound loss for this month! I'm down a little more, so it's not over yet! I had a little bit of a stale mate the last few days, but then I was down a pound today. I'm hoping I continue the downward trend!

Whew seems my fast and furious gardening this week has got me back on track a bit. Planting trees and shrubs and digging old beds is hard work.

I owe personals, will try to sign on later to catch up, kid home sick so off to doctor this morning. At least I think he's sick, non verbal so can't always tell whether he's ill or just not liking school.

Farn0057 & NightSnacker: I'm glad the scales are consistently moving down for both of you again!


nancylmrn & Nicholsfamily1987: I'm sorry you guys have had frustrating stalls this month. I have never been as low in weight as you guys are in my entire adult life, so I don't know from experience, but I have heard that plateaus can last a lot longer or the up and downs will rubber band a lot more often before solidly moving down at lower weights, because you are closer to or already within healthy weight ranges, so you end up having to push a little harder than usual to break through maintenance mode. It seems like its own kind of struggle, seperate from those we have when we are severely overweight. I'm hoping next month is better for you both!

Weigh-in was 229.8 today. Our son had baseball practice again last night, but it was over near the soccer fields again, so I had that awesome walking path around the area at my disposal. I ended up being able to get in just over 5.25 miles before practice ended, so I was happy about that! They're having practice there again tonight before their game tomorrow, so I'm going to try getting another long walk in while I am there, since I won't be able to do my walk tomorrow night.

Another gorgeous day here today, and much digging to be done. So down goes the Motrin(arrghh my aching back) and out I'm heading to get my exercise the old fashioned way.

opheliaphoenix thank you for the encouragement, it was so much easier and less frustrating when there was a slow but steady loss, now I have been within the same 3-4 pounds since mid February so my plateau has really hung on.

I have noticed though a pattern since I started working out 5 days a week (on week 5 now) My weight goes up during the week but on weekends it drops down so I think some of this is water retention (?) I keep telling myself that.

Hello everyone; today is Friday weigh-in day.
I was up and down all week and I am glad it finally went down again.
Thank you very much kfunk, opheliaphoenix, brd88 for the words of support all through this month!
I didn't make my goal this month, or last month, but I have still lost 22 lb since Feb 16th so I feel like I am succeeding.

kfunk, I go to pick up my CPAP machine this afternoon for the first time.

Popping in really quick to say hi to everyone at the same time -- will do personals tomorrow!!

Weigh-in was up a whole other pound to 231.6 today. I know what I did, though...I have been craving pickles for the better part of two weeks now, and gave in on it yesterday. Did fine on the calories, but my sodium was off the charts for the day. Just 3 little spears -- not even a whole pickle, just spears, so 3/4 of a pickle! -- was almost a thousand mgs of sodium alone. Not including my actual meals. Sooo, yeah. I already know I am super sensitive to bloating from sodium intake, so I am at fault. So, I ended up blowing it right before the final weigh-in for the week with a bloat gain, so it makes it seem like I only lost 1.2 lbs for this week. Boo. So, I'll be avoiding the pickles today and focusing on the water to see if I can help flush that out over the next two days before the end-of-the-month weigh-in.
