Ophelia congrats on making it to the 230's!! I hope you can get through without much of a hang up, you have been doing so well with your walks and your eating plan!
babyred Wow, what a great week you had! I am sorry you didn't finish your race and hope you find some shoes that are comfortable!
Hi mum, welcome!! Good luck!
Hopefully drinking a ton of water will flush out the sodium, nicoley
I hope that getting back on track will help you feel better, nichols! I bet that gain is mostly water, so hopefully it will go away fast!
debest nice job!! You are losing at a really good rate!
nicoley73: Hope it flushes out for you tomorrow! I'm super sensitive to sodium, so I understand how quickly it can make you bloat.
Nicholsfamily1987: You will definitely get it back down, because you ARE worth it and you've got this!
debest: You are killing it, so I can see why you're friends with the scale right now! Haha. And, yes! I am on MFP under the same name. My food diary is boring though, because I pretty much just eat the same 5-6 things on rotation right now...lol.
kfunk6113: Thank you...I hope so, too!
jrkessle: You're doing well, so I bet you will be able to able to make it to the 250s before your doctor's appointment!

Weigh-in was 237.2 today, so another little unexpected whoosh. I know it will go back up a bit as they always do, but I am loving it for today, because that puts me back in the range of my pre-pregnancy weight of 237! So, even with a probable incoming fluctuation, that makes me feel pretty good. I feel like I have essentially caught up to where I was before I got derailed from 3FC back in late 2013/early 2014 -- so, now I am starting fresh like it is before I gained all that weight (and more) back, and I am focusing on moving onward and downward this time!

Thankyou Kfunk and Opheliapheonix! Hopefully this next week will good for all of us....you're both doing brilliantly and I can't believe how much the support on here is helping
Had a good day yesterday. I'm trying a combination of lower carb and intermittant fasting with the hope that when I go into maintenance I can stick with the IF and add the carbs back in. We will see. I've lost and gained the same 20 lbs the past few years so I'm hoping to find something that sticks.
Guys I owe personals but you all will have to forgive me as I'll keep owing them till next week when I'm back. I'm packing to leave on florida vacation middle of the night Wednesday, and have been involved in preparing to get away. I'm leaving behind horses dogs and some of my family, so much much to do and plan for.
My daughter is graduating this year. As a gift this trip is mommy daughter only, we are getting a break together from all the males! (we love them, but still).
My attention has been diverted from all things healthy, I've been eating somewhat badly, mostly too much salt and carbs. Not whole hog cheats but careless. Also on forced exercise break now due to worsening of my shoulder issue, will have to bite the bullet and get a cortisone shot I think when I'm back home(shudder). It's gotten too bad to even use the elliptical. Maybe this long break from working out will help it who knows, but I think not. I miss it, between all my slacking and not drinking enough I'm on day 4!! of a rotten headache that won't quit and worried I'm catching my son's cold. Super hydrating today with fingers crossed.
Did I mention at any point that I'm petrified of flying? Because I'm seriously petrified of flying, used to fly all about effortlessly but I've gotten just a bit nervier in my old age I guess. Trying to breathe through this. I have old, like 6 year old xanax in my cupboard, pretty sure it's going down the hatch despite it's age. Anyone know if that's ok when it's old? I meant to call doc and forgot till now, likely too late he's a bit slow to respond.
I'll be keeping up with reading, everyone's progress is inspiring to me no matter how I'm doing, keeps me connected to my own goals. I might pop in tomorrow if I'm all caught up and ready to roll. (Pardon the rambling I'm kind of shot here mentally )
babyredangel: You're welcome, and thank you as well! And, I agree...3FC and the support people can find here has really made all the difference.
nicoley73: Glad it all flushed back out and that you had a good day yesterday! Hoping that trying the low carb with IF works wonders for you.
NightSnacker: No worries! You can get back to personals when you're back from vacation. I don't think anyone will blame you, lol. I hope you and your daughter have an amazing time and that your flight will go smoothly with no cause for concern...have fun!! (P.S. No idea on the medication expiration...hopefully your doctor will be able to give you some better advice before you leave!)
brd88: Congrats on hitting the 150s!!
Anmyreah: Of course...you can join in whenever you want! Welcome.

Weigh-in was 237.0 even today, so that means a new dragonfly and hitting 60 lbs down! Hoping I can keep it by tomorrow, since it is literally just barely and exactly by the ounce, lol. Life has been crazy busy the past week or so with both older kids in season for different sports on the same days at opposite ends of town, but tonight is our oldest's last day of soccer, so it should calm down a little after this. I've been hit or miss on getting my walks in for the past few nights due to late-in-the-day games and overrunning practices, so - after tonight - I should be able to get back to it more consistently!

Another good day. I'm taking it easy on the exercise until I lose some more. I always rationalize eating more if I exercise and that doesn't help my weight loss. So for now I'm just trying for my 10K steps a day.
