Hi All. For I believe the first time ever, I stuck to my exercise plan for a whole month and did great in January. Would love to join in with everyone here to track February too. I'm on a yoga kick right now and loving it. So glad I finally found something I enjoy doing that I can stick with. Plan is to do one of my dvd's 6 days a week. I have 3 that I mix up right now.

1~ Yoga Energy
2~ Yoga Fat Burner

3~ Yoga Stand Up
4~ Rest Day
5~ Weekend at Disney so no Yoga today. Lots and LOTS of walking though.

I'm not sure how my weekend is going to look so I spent a little extra time in the gym today.

Special extra goal! Two days ago I was able to jog for 3 minutes straight on the treadmill at a 3.5. That really excited me. Today I decided that I wanted to practice my jogging form more at a lower speed. I dropped it down to a 3.0 and planned to run for 4 minutes. Well that came and went. Then I challenged myself to jog for another minute. That went on until I jogged for 15 MINUTES straight!!!! I couldn't believe it! I think I'm going to keep it at this speed and continue jogging for longer periods of time and then slowly work my way up to going faster. I'm so pleased with myself right now.

Total Minutes: 101/850
2/1 - 20
2/2 - 81

Right now I am in "turbo" mode for my diet so I am exercising on days where I am home (usually mon, wens, and thursday) also sat which I spend with my bf but it probably won't be a ton on Saturdays.

So far

02/01 I cycled for 60 minutes on low to moderate intensity for fat burning.

tonight I'm cycling too, will update how much I've accomplished later!

I'm reasonably on track, could have done a bit more yesterday but I know I'll be starting weights today so should get extra minutes to catch up from that.

I'm so terribly out of shape that the first 10 days of cardio were just trying to find any pace that got me through 25 minutes, basically mostly very slow but I'm already able to pick up the pace and match the intervals the machine program provides so I feel like I'm really getting somewhere!

Also I have to say it, this is in fact the first time in my life I've worked out in a program and stuck with it past a few days. Normally I just get more active within my sport and hobbies. This is much more purposeful and I'm amazing myself to be 12 days in with no misses. And no I'm not taking days off right now, just going easy a day or two a week because I don't want to break a new habit before it's established and I'm not getting too sore.

LovelyLeah Great work with the 15 minute run.

Nightsnacker Well done for sticking at it, and great you are already feeling a difference. I am hoping that this is the time I really change my lifestyle and mentality so I can find the inner slim me and keep hold of her!

Today is my day off, so I got up and did a 3.5mile walk after breakfast including some decent inclines. Then I have been busy throughout the day doing food shopping, cleaning etc. so managing to record a decent number for the day.

I'm in the process of building my own interval jogging method. I've been paying attention to what works for me, where my limits are, and which ones I can push. Learning from yesterday, I've found that I can workout longer if I flip how I've been jogging and walking. I walk at the speed I jogging (faster) and jog at the speed I walking (slower). It's enough to get me sweating but not overexerting to where I dread the gym. I think this will make it easier to build the habit and the stamina.

Total Minutes: 200/850
2/1 - 20
2/2 - 81
2/3 - 99 - I'm the type of person that numbers bother me. I don't like that I was 1 minute away from 100 HOWEVER I really didn't like that I was 1 minute over yesterday. I've got it equaled out now but it still irks me a bit.
