Ok Paper Clip. I didn't get to start. Lets do it!!! I am doing 21 days if exercise. Wii, Yard work, letterboxing, or house work. I will post tomorrow what I do today. Most likely WII Fit Plus.

Look forward to us getting this as our routine in our lifestyle.

My nephew advised me last Friday they have set a date for his wedding. 10/30/2018. I have 19 months to lose 61 pounds. That is less then 4 pounds a week. So if I stay on losing 1 pound a week i can lose. 61 atleast by then and be 160 pounds. That is only 15-20 pounds from my full goal. NEW MOTIVATION!!

Hi everyone! I'm back for another round too! My goal is to stay under 1,300 calories/day with 3 controlled pause days.

I've been slacking off since the last challenge ended, but I think I needed that mental break. It feels good to know I'll be getting on track again.

Day 1 - Mon - 1,265 cals
Day 2 - Tue - 1,275 cals
Day 3 - Wed -
Day 4 - Thu -
Day 5 - Fri -
Day 6 - Sat -
Day 7 - Sun -

This is not a stupid question...I'm from the states too and I was wondering the same thing! Is letterboxing unique to Colorado?

Default Letterboxing

Ladies this is a great hobby that gets you outside and you can usually play it eve on vacation. Letterboxing was created in Dartmore England in 1854 by James Perrott. He placed a bottle, he had emptied while hiking in an usual path, with his calling card. To see if others who found would do the same. It caught on and it became a huge success in Dartmore. They would make clues and post them in the stores for people to get and follow. I progressed around the world. You can now find it on EVERY continent.

You only need to go to Letterboxing.org or atlasquest.com in the United States you find the clues to follow. You need only a rubber stamp to identify yourself, (self made or purchased), a pen, a Good note pad ( have a leather bound blank journal for mine) to collect the boxes stamp impressions, and an inkpad.

Here is the official site for Dartmore http://www.visitdartmoor.co.uk/thing...s/letterboxing .. On the other sites I gave they also give information n how to letterbox. It has a great family past time. I love it!! If you see me on the 2 sites my Trail name is Magical Huntress.

Davis, how interesting, and not what I was imagining at all! Part of my job sees me assessing the language level of different individuals and to do this we talk about them and their hobbies. I had a lady a couple of weeks ago telling me she loves 'geotagging' or something similar? From her explanation it seemed like a less personalised version of the same thing? Heading out to find clues/boxes and then leaving messages online when you do?

Yesterday I was almost home from work and only on 8,000 steps (my old target) so instead of coming straight back I did a loop and ended up over 11,000, yippee! Today I am going to take a long(ish) walk at lunchtime as I think it might be pouring down by this evening so I will not want to be out any longer than necessary!!!

Day 1 (20/3) - 11,003
Day 2 (21/3) - 11,266

Davis Letterboxing sounds like so much fun. I'm going to see if we have it in Seattle. It would be fun to do with my daughter.

Takingcontrol. Excellent job on getting those additional steps in! That is a lot of walking!

I'm adding exercise to my daily tracking. I need to start moving again.

10,000 really don't fit into my daily life naturally! This is a bit troublesome now, but also exciting, I am really challenging myself to make a change to the way I run my days for the healthier and better. On Wednesday I went on a lunchtime walk and easily got my steps in. Yesterday I couldn't walk to work as I got a lift from close to home out to a company miles away, so I missed those steps. Then it was cold and raining at lunch so I 'couldn't' (didn't!) go out on a walk. I did walk home in the rain. But was only on 8.200 steps. So, I walked up and down my lounge for the duration of a tv show I was watching and made myself more active with house chores and I made it! Need to work out how to get those steps in my day so it doesn't come to that... but for yesterday, it worked!!

Day 1 (20/3) - 11,003
Day 2 (21/3) - 11,266
Day 3 (22/3) - 11,335
Day 4 (23/3) - 10,649
Day 5 (24/3) -

Keep going everyone!!!

Day 8 - Mon - pause day
Day 9 - Tue - 1,275

Davis I looked for Letterboxing in my area, but I could only find one that takes place in the summer. Do you ever worry about wild animals out there? I have Bobcats, coyotes and bears walking through my backyard, but they're pretty skittish. I think they might be bolder if I'm in their neighborhood!

Takingcontrol. Good job on reaching your step goals!! We're getting a lot of rain in Seattle too, which makes getting my steps in difficult. Have you tried jogging in place while watching TV? I do that when I need 500 or so extra steps quickly to reach my goal.

There was a break in the rain yesterday, so I got a walk in. I participate in a step count program at work and my co-worker set up an on-line weekend challenge for me to participate it. My daughter and I are going to walk around a local lake today, which is about 2.5 miles around it. Not sure how I'll get my steps in tomorrow..maybe I'll walk a local path.

Have a good weekend!

SperrigoYou just be causious when hiking always. But I don't worry just watch. I looked up Seattle and a huge list came up on letterboxing.org. your area might be more summer. Unless there are some inside ones. We have a few here inside resturants and libraries. Look forward to your adventur
