I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has shared words of encouragement and support to my decision to step out of the challenge. It means so much to me that you would take the time to write me a message, I have read each and every one of your posts multiple times. Thank you for supporting my decision and for supporting me as a person. I know depression/anxiety is more common than I think but I come from a family who don't take mental illness seriously so I always worry that no one will understand. You're all such wonderful people and I am most definitely still around rooting for you even if I don't post. For those who are worried that maintaining the spreadsheet might be too much work please don't worry about that. I'm still more than happy to post up the charts every Monday! So here are week 6 charts
I am back on track today. I decided not to weigh in this week due to a 3 day binge. Right now, right this very minute, I have given myself a "thumbs up" on how far I have come, a thank you to the Lord above for giving me a new day to continue my journey and the courage to begin anew.
I read and re-read so many posts on many of the threads for the encouragement to never give up!
If anyone here is struggling, post here. I am here for you and you are here for me!

Looking at the spreadsheet, I am so amazed at how well so many are doing, while I just stagnate from week to week. On the other hand, I am glad I'm not gaining.
Yeah, there is no beating kwalk50 at this point...I'd have to lose 8 lbs in this next week, just to catch up much less win! You guys are doing great, and this has been fun! Looking forward to seeing where everyone lands compared to their goals come this upcoming final week.

Hi Rie!!! Holy Cow - All you 5+ percenters....Wonderful, just wonderful. I, on the other hand, have had a terrible two weeks. No exercise, on the road 10 of the last 12 days...I am hoping it is mostly salt and water retention, but I think I lost at least two weeks of work and there is NO WAY I will hit my goal this round. The good news is that spring has sprung and I cannot wait to get back on the road bike regularly again.

Oh it ends next week? I just joined and gave myself a 27.5 pound goal. I thought this challenge was for all of 2017.

Chunkahlunkah: I was just about to suggest you check out the Let's Get To Goal Weight in 2017 thread, because it is a full year challenge, but it seems you already found your way there! I am enjoying segmented competitions like this one too, though, since they keep things interesting during the more drawn out full year ones.

Yeah, I made a beeline for it. I'll try my best to hit my 27.5 lb loss this week though. I agree, the shorter challenges and the longer ones are perfect complements.
