Hi girls I hope you all had a great weekend and it's nice to come in and see everyone's news! Congrats to alllll!
I had a good loss thus far, even shocking, but I am claiming no victories as of yet as I know what can happen if I slip! I will wait until months end or close to it and report here but so far so good!
I have to log and don't have time for personals but did read the posts and omg! Congratulations girls! Let's keep at it and stay strong, we start a new week and day tomorrow!
Wishing you all a wonderful night! I will check back in soon!
boatingmommy: I'm sure it's just a fluctuation, especially if you had anything super salty at the pot luck. Please don't get discouraged! Keep at it steady, and you're right...you will win the race.
My husband decided he wanted to go to the gym today, because he has 11 days before getting retaped at work (he's in the military) and has to lose a little now, too. I obviously jumped at the chance to go with him, since I have no workout buddies in real life. And, you guys....I am BEAT. I haven't been to the gym since the end of 2013, and I am feeling every minute of that time spent away from it in the jello that is now my legs, lol. But, I went! And, I pushed myself hard while I was there, despite being so out of shape, so I am proud of myself. Weigh-in was 288.2 this morning, which puts me at 6.4 lbs down for Week One! If only all the weeks after the initial water push were like this, am I right!? Haha.

opheliaphoenix - Congrats! You're doing fantastic! Such an inspiration!
And hello to everyone! Congrats on the journey thus far! Tomorrow is my weigh in and I must say I'm extremely nervous. I have splurged a bit the past two days, and now need to get back on track. Weekends SUCK! So I really hope the scale is nice to me.
I'll post in the AM with my weigh in. Fingers crossed!
Jan 1: NWI
Jan 2: 184.5 lbs
Jan 3: NWI
Jan 4: NWI

Jan 6: NWI
Jan 7: NWI

I'm a little late, but I'd like to join in!
My goal for January is to lose 6 lbs!
My starting weight on Jan 3rd: 232. I'll update the next time I weigh in!
Its never too late! The important thing is to start. Best of luck.
Happy Monday, all! I was such a good girl this weekend. Only 3 beers the whole weekend (beer is my nemesis) AND I did work out on Saturday. I made biscuits and gravy for the family yesterday morning, but made myself an egg, mushroom and spinach scramble instead. Now, if I can just get the scale to budge this week!
Well, this is disapointing. I know I should technically be happy with any loss at all, but I put in the work, and should have seen 1.5 loss at the least.
ladyinweighting: Everyone tracks a bit differently, here. So, do whatever works for you. There are no rules. As you can see, I didn't even weigh in until yesterday!
January Goal: 91.55 (-2 kgs)
8: 93.55
9: 93.15 (yay! Home-made chicken soup with tiny dumplings is light enough to work for suppers)
Weekend Boater: Glad you are having success, and we will see you at your next check-in!
Niv1173: Welcome!
chouku: Thank you!
rustylush: Aww, thanks! And, I hope your weigh-in goes well...weekends can be killer, for sure.
Sum38: Congrats on another nice loss!
boatingmommy: Good job on the loss and for sticking to the plan even when cooking other things for your family. Your meal sounds like it was just as delicious though, to be honest...lol.
ladyinweighting: Welcome to you, as well! And, I suppose it just depends on what you want your "end of the week" to be. I think if you want to keep it blocked off into the 7-day weeks, ending it on the 7th would be fine...the starting week doesn't have to be a full seven days, just the ones after. Or, if you're more comfortable with counting 7 days from your start day for added accuracy for you personally, that is fine too! No hard and set rules on it.
MonteCristo: I'm sorry your loss was less than what you were expecting...I hate when that happens. Good job on putting in the right efforts, though! That is more than half the battle. Hopefully your next weigh-in will be more telling of that hard work. Keep it up until then!
Even after an on-plan day yesterday, my weigh-in showed a little gain this morning at 288. I went over on sodium a little, which is probably a factor, but I think I'm also nearing the end of that water weight phase, so I'm just chalking it up to a normal flucation. Hopefully another on-plan day today will see me right through it by morning. Fingers crossed!
Week Two
08: 287.2
09: 288.0

---------------------------- End of Week One: 288.2 Total Loss for Week Two:
I would like to join the challenge. My lowest recent weight was 145 this fall, and I somewhat intentionally suspended the deliberate weight loss program for the holidays. As of today, I am at 148.6 and ready to get back to work.
For January, my goal is to get back to my previous low of 145.
