I have a doctors appointment this morning. I have been pretty sick most of the week though I've been to not complain much. But hopefully I'm able to get my B12 shot this morning. I think part of my big whoosh is from not eating much but drinking a ton. We'll see what the doc says.

So... I sort of fell of the wagon for a while. I was really busy, and suddenly simply fed up with scales, numbers, losing weight, all of it. I didn't exercise, and had a couple of moments of overindulgence (the picnic with friends was the worst one).

I was frankly scared when I stepped on the scale today, but alas, I see some loss. I won't make my goal this month, but I've now learned that my new, healthier eating habits are so ingrained in me that even if I don't actively try to lose weight, I still lose - just not that fast.

Now, time to switch gears and keep going!

Hey Chicks. Another quick check-in for me. Work and the family are keeping me busy, busy! Amazingly, everything is still groovy with diet and exercise. Down another two pounds. Getting so close....hope to make it this month! Started new personal training program this month, which I feel is playing with the scale a bit (muscle recovery = holding water). Trying to remember this is not a race, but life long health. Sometimes I feel SOOOOO impatient with the scale!!!! And I am SOOO hungry when I work out, it is hard to stay around 1350 calories........

Everyone here gives me so much motivation and understanding of weight loss issues as I read your stories and see your numbers. So, thanks to everyone for the honesty and real life challenges. I LOVE not being alone!

Aug11 (tue): 182.4
Aug 12 (wed) 180.8 Lowering carbs intake really helps!

Aug 15 (sat) 178.0 (after 25 hour fast and TONS of miles jogging. Pays off!)

Aug 22 (sat) 175.8 <==== MET MY GOAL FOR THE MONTH!!! After 24hr of Friday fasting.
Aug 23 (sun) 174.4 had lots of watermelon yesterday and thats probably counted partially as water intake. Oh and I walked almost 7 miles as well.

Aug 27 (thur) 173.8
