I jumped up on the scale this morning, as a combination of things caused me to hold water, so that's not the weight I want to count as my starting weight. I'm going with my ticker weight as my starting weight. Today is my Carb Day so I'll be up more tomorrow, but I'll come back down eventually and hopefully make it into a new decade, the 180's, this month!

Gonna join in again this month, hoping to lose 4.5-5lbs again. Want to get into the 260s if possible. Also going to monitor weight daily but my official weigh ins shall still be tuesdays.

Hello Everyone

My starting weight is 147.2. My goal for this month is 4lbs. I'm so close to reaching my goal weight I'm super excited and nervous.

Well that is one way to start - no change at all from 7/31 and 8/1, but I ate the ONE food that will make me hold water no matter what - canned beans and salsa - that combo of salt ALWAYS make me stay the same weight or gain - every, single, time... Interesting, huh?

Alright ladies. I miss doing my personals. I wanna get as caught up as possible. With the new job starting soon, my schedule will be weird for the first 8 weeks as they put you through intensive training. So my plan is to come home from work, get the boys settled with homework, food, check-in here, study and then hit the gym or the greenway ( depending on the weather) at around 6:30 or so. I think I can manage. Things will be tight for us but I sat down with my boys and my soon to be husband and basically explained that I understand time will be short but that I have to focus on exercise and losing this weight and that I have to make time everyday for it even if I don't have time. They are all for it of course, so I'm just hitting it wide open now. I have been really strict with myself as far as calories and getting out to walk. Its working. With that being said, I was down to 229 this morning. FINALLY able to change my ticker since I went on vacation and then had my mini-meltdown afterwards with being laid off. So nice to be back in the swing of things and focused...and I mean really focused this time.

On a side note, I was getting out of my car yesterday and I was collecting all the water bottles from the past few days and I thought to myself, man thats different. Usually, its candy wrappers etc, I'm pulling out of here. I had a laugh and was just so proud of myself in that moment. Anyways, just thought I would share.

So, you ladies have a wonderful day and I shall check-in with you fine folks tomorrow.

Thanks everyone who congratulated me on my ring/engagement. It's exciting to finally have that part taken care of. Shopping is fun and all, but now I just want it on my finger!

Delphi We meet with a venue on Thursday. It's a high-end bowling and bocce ball alley that caters towards special events. It really fits us since we're not the most traditional couple and it's more playful than serious. We're thinking next summer but we have to see what their availability is before we set a date.

Back to eggs for breakfast, and I FiNALLY started trying out cooking eggs in the microwave. Quicker and less cleanup. Still have some perfecting to do.

Last night was clean pajama and clean sheet night. Ahhhhhh Only got halfway through with deep cleaning the bedroom. Hope to finish that and the bathroom today. Let's see if I have the courage to box up some clothing....boxing up is not the problem...buying new is. I'm never able to make time to shop for myself.

Urg..time to figure out why my computer is overheating...
