Yay, leopardspots! Welcome to onederland!

I'm thrilled to be down a little for the month. Even more, I'm thrilled to be down a little since June 1. I've gained every summer except the first one since I started this journey. It's huge that I actually lost a little this summer! And, this group helped -- thanks, y'all!

Looks like a gain, but I did get down to 175 a few times this month (and saw 174.8 on the scale once!), so in that way I feel successful.

I did not make my goal this month (a generous twenty pounds) but I am very happy with 10.2 pounds! I was out of town at a family funeral this weekend and did not really have control over food choices - basically whatever was brought by friends and neighbors. I suspect the 2 in front will be back in a day or two once the salt washes out of my system!

Off to September!! I plan to lower my goal to 15 pounds instead of twenty! And if I end up with ten again I will be very happy!!

My parents took my family out to eat last night and I tried to order semi healthy. Had 2 cheese sticks and my meal was Santa Fe grilled chicken salad! It was AMAZING. But it had corn and beans and tortilla chips, so I thought for sure I'd gain at weigh in. NOPE. I'm at the same as yesterday: 195.8lbs

FW: 195.8
Total August weight loss: 10.2lbs! I'll take it!

Jacqui D- I'm sure that carb weight will fall right off in no time! Good luck with September!

NNS- maintainence is great too!

econ nerd- 10.2 is exactly what I got too! congrats! So sorry about your loss, and it's completely understandable about the food choices. I didn't hit my goal this month either, I was shooting for 15 and got 10.2 which is still great. I'll probably shoot for maybe 12 for september. Idk yet!

prairieQueen- you are down since the beginning of August, so that's a total win!

HereIStand, yes, it's always hard to judge on another scale, but way to go on staying on plan and walking!

BerryBB, it was rough going for a while, but you sure pulled ahead this month! 8 lbs is great!

Raining, you have the steadiest pattern of weight loss, lol! You should be getting another drop very soon! Great job this month! See you in the September thread!

I DID IT! I had a whoosh and lost 2+ pounds on the very last day of August, which means I lost just over 11 pounds!
