How are you finding the slow eating? It's something I really struggle with, unless using chopsticks Because I can't trust myself I go for limiting portions instead, or if eating out and a plate full arrives I decide what I will leave before I start.... leaving food on a plate is a challenge in itself and goes against my upbringing entirely.... which is probably why Ive been fat since my teens!
Official weigh in for the week and the change of mindset is paying off with things moving in the right direction. I'd love to be officially in onederland this time next week!

Well I am not off to the best start and that is not how I planned to start this challenge. We had a long weekend. Movie theater popcorn (just a little) and I may or may not have had an oreo blizzard last night after a long day of running errands. In any case, I was very active and I managed to stay within the "no danger zone" of not gaining any weight, so theres that. So, I jumped up this morning, did my cardio and staying on plan. Sure hope you guys have an excellent Monday.
stepbystep: the only way I can eat slowly is to put my fork down between bites. I resisted that idea for years because I was so sure it wouldn't work or that I couldn't do it, but it turned out to be a habit that I developed quickly and easily when I finally decided to do it!
Well, I managed to stay under my calorie goal yesterday and hopefully I can start making some progress as the week progresses. The scale is still not budging and I just hope I can see it move by weeks end. Sure hope you guys have a great day.
Not really making progress. I have been relaxed about my eating since last Friday; need to get back to planning and sticking to the plan. warm weather is here, and I have nothing to wear... to fit into my summer stuff, I need to get to 140 or close to it.
