December SW 160
CW this morning but pre Christmas Eve binge 151.4
Jan 1 GW 148
Expecting about 153 tomorrow. Will have a big Christmas breakfast but plan to just have one piece of toast and one egg, skip lunch and then a light dinner. Our big meal is Christmas Eve. My goal weight may be a lost cause but I plan to stay between 600-900 cals the rest of the holidays. We have a big meal on New Years Day but I don't enjoy the food nearly so much so I should be able to resist. SHOULD being the operative word.

12/25: 230.4 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!! I don't expect all of this weight loss to stick. Some of the drop is due to water weight.....I didn't drink a lot yesterday and I swell a bit when I am in the car for a bit. Also, I ate very little yesterday so that accounts for some. It still feels nice to see that number on the scale though!
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, my fellow December Challengers!
Happy holidays to all!

I currently have 3 dogs: a 6ish female Westie (Bailey), a 7-8ish male Terrier-of-Unknown-Origin (Duncan), and a 13ish Miniature Schnauzer (Bogey). I'm iffy on all the ages because they were all rescues. The senior Schnauzer we adopted last year, the other 2 each around 4 years ago.
Prior to my current crew, I had 2 Great Pyrenees dogs, a German Shepherd, a Mini Schnauzer, 2 sweet-as-pie kitties, 10 koi, and a 200 gallon saltwater reef tank full of tropical fishies (including a Nemo [plus a mate] and a Dory). <--- all of those creatures ALL AT ONCE.
To say I am an animal nutty is to understate my personality by several thousand degrees.
I am sorry that Hope and Pippin have the delicate health that most seniors have (Bogey is the same). It is so very hard. I constantly rail against their so-much-shorter-than-ours lifespans. It is patently unfair, isn't it? Someone please explain to me why horses may live up to 30 years, and some wild birds can live..... blah blah, I could complain about this forever, but it doesn't change the fact that our dogs and kitties don't get near as long.

Hugs and good health to Pippin and Hope!
My biggest crew was Hope and Pippin plus Robin the cockatiel, Rosebush the English Angora rabbit and a 30 gallon freshwater tank. Robin died at the age of 23 last spring and I sold the fish and gave up the tank sometimes before that. Rosebush was a show rabbit and he went to a breeder who I vetted very carefully. Now it is just the three of us.
Every time I hear a song about heartbreak I think of my dogs first lol cuz they are gonna leave me. I heard "you are my sunshine" today and almost cried while driving. You are right it is so unfair.
