Mrs. Snark, Thanks for noticing. I was surprised when it was 158 this a.m., as my weight bounces around a lot. Disneyland would be wonderful, especially weather wise, lol. Thinking of heading for Houston for a week after the new year. I guess I should set rewards, what are your rewards? Are you staying under 148(tricky business this time of year)?

"Accidentally" ate a 900 cal snack yesterday! It looked so innocent, then it asked my host to see the package. Yikes! Still somehow down 0.8! Down 1.4 since wed after days of no movement.
One good thing; as of now, because of the pain, I have no appetite. But I am sure that will not last forever.
I am trying to be mindful what I eat, but because I go for a long periods of time with no food, then the pain kicks and makes me nauseous. Then I soothe my stomach with fatty foods.
I will get back into my daily weigh ins starting January; keeping me honest. It may be very depressing because I am one of those people who need to move, and a lot, in order to maintain/lose weight.
My goal is to stay below 150 pounds during this "journey".

I got to adopt a senior mini Schnauzer when I reached my original goal, so that was a big winner! I haven't set any other rewards, I need to choose one come to think of it (time to shop the shelters, whoo hoo!)
I peeked at the scale, though I didn't really need to, and I'm continuing to hover in the low 140s, well below my goal. When I made my goal for December I thought my hunger would come roaring back any minute now, but I'm still suffering from a decided lack of overall appetite. Stress, I think. Usually I would struggle this time of year.
I haven't been on here in a week or two. I thought I'd check in with my progress.
My goal was to lose -7 lbs. and be at 195.6 by the end of December. Today my weigh in was 198.8. 3.2 pounds to go to reach my goal. I'm not sure if I can lose 3.2 in 11 days, especially with Christmas coming up, but I'm sure going to try!!!
I'm stalled but no downward spiral. I guess this is the dreaded plateau. I've read about the whoosh but we shall see. I'll just keep going through the holidays. So far, nothing has been worth taking a detour for. When you think about our hard work, tiddly winks and sugar bombs don't seem worth a raised eyebrow.We have to show those holiday traditional treats who's the boss.

Mrs. Snark you are a dog lover too! How many dogs do you have? Breeds? Names? I have two 14 years old Poms named Hope and Pippin. They are in tenuous health and it kills me.
