New low this morning! TOM arrived yesterday and this is my MO. Expecting to balloon tomorrow and see this low, or lower in about 2 weeks.....when everything levels out. Praying for a Christmas miracle so I can start the new year in the 220's. Weigh-in this morning is 233.8!

Hmm..I want to complain about a third week at the same weight, but I can't really because I'm not doing everything I could to get the scale moving again. I've been eating just under maintenance calories and haven't exercised every day. Oddly enough, I'm OK with this.

For the first time in my life, I'm OK with my weight loss slowing over the holidays/winter. I'm not going to give up; I'm just not going to worry if it adds a few months to get to goal. I hope I'm not just excusing backsliding, but it just feels like the right thing to do.

I guess we'll see...

My goal is to start the new year off no heavier than 235.0. That's 9.4 lbs, amid multiple Holiday gatherings. Not as easy as it may sound. I would LOVE to in the 220's, but I don't see that happening!

I'm blambing TOM this time!!

I found an elimination diet for January. Hopefully I'll be able to find out what is giving me hives.

I'm going to rant for a moment. My co-worker gets me chocolates for Christmas. She knows that I'm trying to lose weight and I'm diabetic. What the frignabit!!! She has a lot of weight to loose and she struggles so she knows what it's like.

WTG Jez!! You really knocked it out of the park!

Well, I had my doubts about making goal for pretty much the whole month of Dec., but I scooted across the finish line on the last day. Added an bonus 1/2 lb for good measure.

These challenges have been such a fantastic motivational tool for me. Not only did I lose 10.5 lbs over the holidays instead of gaining 10, but I lost 57.5 lbs. since I joined the Easter challenge. I hope they've been a big help to the rest of you as well.

I will start a new challenge series for 2015, but I think I'm going to skip on the spreadsheet so I can have it ready to go for tomorrow morning. Happy New Year everyone!!

I'm so glad people kept this challenge going (and into 2015) since I fell off the wagon last summer.

Great work guys I wish I had the courage to join the 2015 thread but I think it's best if I don't challenge myself just yet. Maybe later in the year!
