Hey folks, new and old! Hope everyone is having a great week. I joined a fitness challenge starting this week. You have to do strength and cardio. I was planning on starting strength after I hit my goal weight but this challenge sounded fun so I'm starting early. It will probably impact the scale but I'm looking forward to doing it anyway. I like feeling strong! I plan on doing body-weight exercise, primarily using the You Are Your Own Gym app.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Fall weather wherever you are. :-)

My goal for Challenge 5 will be to reach: 203 lbs (lose 3.5#)

Start Weight 9/20/2014: 206.5 lbs
9/26 = 206.2
Oct 3 = 205.8
10/10 = 205.3
17/10 = 204.8
24/10 =

End Weight 31/10/2014:

Total Loss: -1.7

Hey forkeeps I just realized you and I have really similar stats High five! We're almost there!

I cheated. I weighed myself Wednesday morning before setting off for a 2 day mini vacay, and I'm going to use that weigh in for today..hehe

I know I shouldn't take for granted my whooshes, but I'm also kind of bummed that I was so in good behavior for the week and didn't lose a lick. It's alright though, I'm miles farther than where I started.

Start Weight 9/21: 169.0
09/26: 169.0
10/03: 167.6
10/10: 165.2

RiotGirl: Yes, we are both in the last stretch! I know the feeling about knowing for sure you were so good yet the scale doesn't go down. Or worse, it goes up (like mine did a little this week). My problem lately has been that I get angry and give up a little for the next couple days, then even if I get back on track for the rest of the week, it's usually a wash. This time, I am sticking to what I should be doing rather than have a mini temper tantrum (and eat and eat and eat) and hopefully it will work itself out.

forkeeps- Don't feel so bad, I do it too. Sometimes I think my body is trying to tell me to take a maintenance break, but I dunno. I haven't changed anything still, just keep going in and out of bouts of overeating. lol I sure know how to solve a problem.

I just made it to my Halloween weight and lost 3 pounds in 3 weeks just like I planned. After the next challenge I can finally say goodbye to my summer weight and get to 185lbs like I was before the summer.
