I ran yesterday...I couldn't help it. It wasn't all that fast and I walked some too. I did my knee exercises also. So there.

At weigh in yesterday I finally hit my first 5%..9 pounds. It has taken all summer and it is not much but when you get down to the last 25 pounds it gets harder. I was excited. I have been 175.2 all week. It has not budged.

Good morning girls!

Busy busy last few day. Double birthday party for 15 yo and 10 yo at my house last night. That meant unpacking and moving furniture to accommodate 20 + friends and family. Did a taco bar. Total success. I'm worn out and was up at 5am. What gives?

Mindy - why you so stubborn Hurray for the loss! I know it's been hard work, but just embrace it sister! Any news on selling the house? What about the union meeting? Our teachers out here are getting the short end of the stick too. You do such and important and tough job. Hoping they realize how important it is to take of you when you take care of so many others.

Mavie - how did you at the 5k? I need to pick one and sign up. I'm pretty sure I walked a 10k in the last 2 day cleaning the house. My feet are not happy. Can't wait to be where you are with moving my butt! Idaho trip is the annual hunting trip. I really enjoy hiking with my hubby and uncle. I just can't keep it up very long. I know it sounds crazy but I am going to try to pull off 7-10 lbs in the next 3 weeks. My feet cannot handle the mass on top of them.

Carma - great work on c25k! You have been doing fantastic getting here too! Are you wearing a fit bit or someone to count your steps?

Diana - house is already back on the market. 4 showings since. We drop the price another 10k. Hopefully we can get a buyer. What workshop did you attend? How was the college move?

Jen- glad you snuck in a well deserved rest day. Your other rooms will get painted... Sounds like down time with hubby was good for you!

Well, I started the laundry, started the dishwasher, and all before coffee was made. My horse of a dog must have gotten a lawn chair stuck on his ahead trying to get a ball out from underneath it and in flailing around to get unstuck put a nice big dent in our patio column. Only my dog can pull off total house destruction.

WEED THIS WEEK - goal to report daily like Diana.
W -100oz.
E - stretching and walking daily. Even if just around the block
E - NS and logged.
D - twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do, than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bow lines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Ready to reinvent my health girls.

Kris, I wanted 33, I got 35. However, in November when I was ran the 5k at Thanksgiving, it took me 44 minutes, so I'm calling this a win.

Love you all, but I'm having a rough day, so gonna go find something to occupy my brain.

Evening all, hope you had a good weekend. It would have been my in laws 51st anniversary so today was a family based day. Yesterday was work for me. Tomorrow will be hectic as it is DS first soccer game & gabby and I have exercise class. Ofcourse I have work too.
Mavis: great job on the run. I dream of 35 minute 5k. 11 minutes shaved off is good.
Mindy: on the 5% loss. Baby steps
Kris: I wear a fit bit. It helps me stay on track. It vibrates at 10000 steps. Look up the pavlock. If it wasn't 250 bucks I might consider it. I hate to say it negative reinforcement works 4 me. at the dog story. Thanks for the taco bar tip. I am doing my kids first joint bday party. Going to run the taco bar idea by them.

So I spent all day Sunday sitting around doing school work. That wasn't much fun. Then we went to dinner last night and BAM. The scale reacted. I am not happy. Better get moving tonight.

Therapy is tons of fun. They are working my glutes...a lot. Not sure the knee feels much better but those buns are gonna be something.

Our principal is a crazy control freak. We need to challenge her every step of the way. Our building is a priority school this year. That means our kids did terrible on the state test and we are in the bottom 5% in MI. What did they expect? They took away planning time, added all the ELL population to our building and they expect our kids to do well on a test that half of them can't even read. Ridiculous!!! Now WE are supposed to fix the problem that they created.

Hi
I found your group and would love to be a part. I have lost 30 pounds and I am having a little problem getting back on track. I think using your guidelines my help. I would like to be 20 pounds lighter by Christmas and could use some motivation and support.

Thanks

Lost chick- Welcome. We are a fun, supportive group. Happy to have you. Good luck on the 20 pounds. I too would LOVE that!!

Got in a run yesterday. Not all that fast, but did 3 miles. The knee was a bit wonky. My butt is sore from PT and I get to go back tonight. YAY!! I kind of wish we were doing more work on the quads and not just glutes. Hopefully we get there.

Trying not to stress about school too much. I just try to do my job to the best of my ability.

It must be TOM time or mid-TOM or something do to do with that. I gained 3 pounds like overnight this week. I lost one today. 177.4 This menopause thing can just be done and I would be really happy.

So the 3 pound gain virtually overnight was indeed a precursor of what was to come. TOM. Really?? After 50 days this time. Can we just get this crap over with already?? Good news is I know that weight will drop right off after TOM and hopefully take an extra pound....maybe two.
