  • My June challenge
On May 31st I ran a 5km (3.1mile) run I signed up for with a great personal time. Now, I'll start to train for a 10km (6.2mile) run in October. I have a long way to go. I lasted 2 weeks in the April challenge and 3 weeks in the May challenge. I feel that in June I'm finally going to complete it!

I challenge myself to burn 7000kcal with exercise (average 233 per day) in June.
    2. 6. - 40min cycling – 200kcal
    3.6. - 30min cycling – 150kcal
    4.6. - 30min cycling – 150kcal

    ∑ = 500kcal (6500kcal to go)

  • Ah, I forgot about this thread! I made a goal this month to do some kind of physical activity every day. I've been stuck in a mental plateau for quite a while now, and I think it's because I've slacked on my fitness. When I do something physical every day, I remember to think about my body more, and I eat better. I'm tracking it on a calendar on my fridge, but the extra bit of accountability can't hurt.

    So far:

  • Yesterday was tough to get it in! I had bus duty in the morning, and I had a small concert to watch in the evening. I'm so proud that I made a point to squeeze in some yoga between getting home from work and getting ready for the evening. Normally I would just count that as an "off" day.

    06/01: Weight lifting
    06/02: Yoga
    06/03: 2 mile hike
    06/04: Weight lifting

    6/03: ran 3 miles outside
6/04: ran 2 miles outside, abs
