Ok, Thanks for the butt kick Mavis and encouragement Jeni, just what I needed. WEED starting today!

W-50 oz
E- 10,000 steps minimum per day
E- 3 meals and 3 snacks if hungry ----NO in between nibbling!!!!
D- Enjoy each day as it unfolds

Mindy, Pinterest mosaic dragonflies. The glass mosaic work on rocks are incredible, leaves me wanting to DO,(oh no!). I'm gonna say go for the Delphi glass class on mosaic garden tables. All supplies plus instruction for $95 sounds like a good deal to me. Love seeing your weight in the 170's, you're doing great. Good luck showing your house today.

Kris, Hello

Diana, love both projects!!

Mindy, that class sounds fun. How'd the showing go? I had a closing yesterday and got another under contract this week, so real estate is not too bad here right now. Prices are still down though and there is a ton on the market here.

Jeni, I am sure the kids had a blast at camp. Everybody settled back in?

Kris, Hope your yard sale is crazy busy and you get rid of lots of stuff!

We were busy all day and I am beat! Gonna read up on the Whole30 challenge and thinking I am going to start that Monday. Need to get enough groceries in first!

A bit irritated this AM. DH wanted to go to another car show today. (We went to one yesterday too) However, today s my group long run (which I have been missing church for, have to get back to going to low mass during the week, but that's another deal) Anyway, because he wanted to do the car show and I felt bad I've been gone every Sunday AM to run, I dragged myself up at 5 on Sunday so I could take Daisy and O'Neil out, played with them for a bit, then they went back to nap and I went to get my 5 miles in so we could leave by 8. I got back to the house about 7:20, took both dogs out again and hopped my sweaty self into the shower. 7:45 ish I go to wake him so we can go and he's too tired. Really? I missed my long run with company for this? Really? Whatever!!!

Anyway, going to Montreal (was thinking NYC, but we decided north instead) tomorrow, so I guess I can use the extra calm,

W 100
E ran 5.26 this AM, some light weights and crunches to go
E POP, had an awesome spinach smoothie post run.
Spinach, unsweetened almond/coconut milk, container of rasp/choc greek yogurt, scoop of chocolate protein and ice. So yummy!
D Happy Sunday!

Mavie – Ain’t that the poops. My hubby is king of throwing off my plans. I know things happen for a reason (God has a plan every day you know) but still, just one organized fall into place day would be fantastic! Hope you KEPT CALM AND ENJOYED IT!

Diana – Awesome, fun, incredible art work, sister! I’m sure someone will fall in love with one of them! How did you do on Barnyard Punks (I think that was the series, right?) I’m gonna follow your suggestion to Mindy, and search pinterest for dragonflies too. Sounds awesome!

Mtiggie (AND MAVIE) - I so understand the adult kids being more difficult. They want to be “respected” and treated like adults, but want all the luxuries of the 12 year olds. So hard to balance when to get out of their way and let them flop while risking them living with you FOREVER. I totally get the bill paying too. Nic works part-time, pays his car payment and insurance. That’s it. When I ask what he plans to eat for meals (rather than MY stuff) he gives me a two item list. Eats in all in two days, and then is back in my stash. Irritating. On another note, Mindy, glad you have all your choppers fixed!

Jen – on Mak becoming a woman. Such a bitter sweet thing. She's got a good mamma and is lucky to have had some discussion prior to arrival. Not fun for any of us, but sounds like she's a trooper! I hope camp was amazing for the kids!

Ms. CARMA – where are you? Hope your back soon!
So yard sale was a success. Pulled in almost $900 bucks! Friday was HOT! 105 AND ABOUT 80% HUMIDITY. It was the longest 6 hours of my life. Yesterday was better. About 85 with cloud cover. The thunderstorm (due around 1pm) hit at 10am and it was a mad rush to tarp everything. It was a good sale. Now its pack up the leftovers for Salvation Army.
NS on point starting today. My 2nd box of food arrived with my “10lbs Lost” bear in it. Kind of fun! 214 this AM and looking forward to moving the scale. I saw 212 this weekend, but I’m sure it was because I was melting in the heat.

Lastly, - I have to tell you girls, I am still so impressed by the running that gets reported here. You chicks are animals. I gotta get to it. Researching some new shoes. Looking to start September 1st (hoping for a cool down in weather by then too!

OK. Goal for today – Bullet Journal – I have tried to use technology to keep me organized and I just keep coming back to scribbling to-do lists. Found this through PINTEREST and going to give it a whirl. Hopefully it will be a workable system for blending life, work, and me.

WEED – (This is going in my journal!)
W- 80oz goal (go get your water bottle out and start now!)
E – 2 dog walks this week, Kris. You have to get the animals some energy burn off too.
E- NS – POP – no excuses
D – Commit to the plan and work it. Don’t look for something better 2 days in.

Everybody is busy, busy. We spent the weekend mulching all the flower beds. CHECK!! That was fun. We agreed that next weekend is a NO project weekend. Although I worked hard in the yard I got not no runs in since Thursday. Feeling a little like a slacker.

WW weigh-in Sat. down 1.2 Okay.... Today though I am up a little. Must get back on the road today. My shoes are waiting.

MM- 5 miles everyday?? I should do 5 today.

Kris- A teddy bear??? How cute. When I hit 5%, which is 9 pounds I get a charm. WooHoo. I was at 7.6 lost on Sat. That was quite a haul at the garage sale. Good for you.

Diana- I really want to take that class. We are going on vacation that week and I don't know if I can fit it in. Need to talk to hubby. I am so itching to mosaic something.

Mindy, not every run, here's what it looks like for this week
Today is 40 minutes, no miles goal, tomorrow is speed work, Thursday is recovery so just 30 minutes or so, Friday is cross train day, spinning or swimming laps are my faves, Sat is 3 miles with sprints at the end and Sunday is 6 miles.

How was the showing?

Kris, Thanks for bailing out DH! LOL Ready to brain him. Madder yet today! I had the day off. Went to Montreal yesterday with our youngest. Fab day, but its just shy of 3 hours each way and then a full day there. Hubs got up and left for work at 6 and never let the dogs out. Seriously? So pi$$ed! I had 1 day to sleep in (dont sleep on the WE because I get up to take care of dogs so he can sleep, even without the ill fated car show) One morning and he cant take 5 minutes and let them out? GRRRRR!

Jeni, how was camp for the littles? See Tommy was busy when he got home! Cute pics!

Diana, hows weeding going?

Carma, whats up?

W 100
E running later
E POP
D gotta get back to work tomorrow, so cleaning house today

Hello everyone! My name is Jennifer. I have a wonderful husband and two great boys 6 & 2. My husband and I are thinking about trying to conceive child #3 around November or December of this year. I would really like to be back down in the low 130's by then. I am currently 140.6. This is honestly the lowest I have been in at least 4 years. I would love to join this group. It looks like you all are so supportive of each other, and I would love to have that too. Let me know if there is still room for another

Welcome Jennifer! Always room for more! Jump right in.

Oh by the way girls, food porn confession from Montreal yesterday, had a plate of poutine! If you don't know what that is.....omg delish!

Absolutely terrible for me, french fries, brown gravy and cheese curds. Have to run an extra 5 just to get rid of it. Thank God I don't get up there often!

Hello all, I am going to jump in with you guys! So excited to be on a great team of accountability and support.

My W/I day on Fridays. I am trying to lose another 10 lbs.

My Y is my family is going to Disneyland in November and I want to be at goal weight by then. I am finding it harder to lose this last little bit compared to the original weight I was losing.

W - 48 oz - I am horrible at drinking water. So I will up my goal when I can do this easily.
E - Monthly goal of walking 15 miles this month
E - Stay between 1270 - 1350 calories a day
D - Remember how much I have lost and how great I look. Those days when things are tougher and I don't eat what I should, I want to remember what I have accomplished so far.

Ms. Vitz! So glad to have another WEEDer join the team. I hope you are here for a VERY LONG TIME! These girls have been together for ages and are ALWAYS a soft place to land in a crazy world. Ready to celebrate success in all area of life with ya!

Okay chicks. 213 this morning, even though I'm pretty sure I consumed more than a normal amount of peanutbutter yesterday.

Mavie - your hubby got a death wish? What in the world is he thinking! Don't mess with my days off. Things will get sideways! Hope the dogs did not leave you any fresh gifts on the carpet. Nothing like the smell of dog dookie in the morning. At least your trip with the boy was pre-pissed off. By the way, your workout schedule makes me want to vomit just reading it. Someday it will seem appealing. YOU ROCK!

Mindy - I want a flowerbed. I have them, they are just fully of spotty plantings and crusty dirt. You know the kind that even when you water looks like it has a film on it. I have Thursday off. Maybe I'll tackle one with your inspiration. Speaking of inspiration on the loss lady! You are on a consistent path again. DON'T CHANGE A THING. DON'T QUESTION. JUST CELEBRATE!

Quick life download:
Son may be moving out. Bittersweet. Bitter: How soon? Sweet: How long? I'm ready to reclaim my castle.

Work, nuts. Dogs, nuts. Plans the next 3 weekends, nuts. I'm already tired just thinking about it all.

Did POP today. Water was eh. Need to go log on NS. Niters sisters!

Good mornin all. Welcome Jen!! We love to have new people. We have lost a few and hope you stick around. The 3 or 4 of us have been together a long time. This is my daily inspiration.

So I gained a couple pounds and then yesterday BAM. Guess who's back?? TOM. Are you kidding me. I never know anymore. I have a plan though. When school gets tough this year (which it will because I work for a crazy district and have a new CRAZY principal) I'm taking off some time and extricating? my womanly parts from this body. That should teach it. 178.2...at least it wasn't a 5 pounder.

MM- You make me laugh. Your home seems so normal and crazy ..like mine. You sound like such good, fun people. That workout schedule sounds like well..work, but doable.

Kris- So happy you are losing. I knew you could do it. It is really a mind set. Once you get into the routine there is no stopping the steam roller. I love to garden. It is pretty easy in MI. My DH ex-girlfriend was from AZ. When she moved to MI she was totally shocked as to how plants grow here. It is fun to watch different things blooming. I will have to post some pics.

I think I am going to be inspired by MM and take in a 5 miler today....before killer TOM symptoms ravage this body.

I didn't do too great yesterday. My boss ordered us pizza for lunch and then my boys and I stopped at Taco Time for dinner. I am up 1.4 lbs from yesterday. I am a horrible water drinker, so I didn' t even come close to my goal. But on the bright side of things, I am still lower than I was in my weight and I can do this!!

MM- Inspired me to do 5 miles yesterday. I am not a fan of 5 miles. My time was about 1 minute faster than the last time. Not sure how people do a marathon. Well TOM did arrive and today will be the day from H***. Hope to see 175 or lower when this crap is done. Good news is I only gained a little and I lost some today. 177.2

Good morning all,

211.6 yesterday. Haven't weighed today.

Mavie - Husband botching plans to do nothing today. I had the day scheduled off to go out of town but plans changed. I took the day off anyway thinking I'd get some quiet time at the house. Hubby wants to clean out garage and pick up kids early. I'm trying not to be pissed off. I need a day without friggin chaos.

Mind - TOM is torturing you little one. I hope it passes quickly and you resume blissful living. 5 miles is awesome. Good for you for pushing yourself! I'm telling you, you ladies are my motivation that this building to get going myself in September!

Vitz - We can work together to try to stuck that tasteless boring fluid down in mass quantities. I am not a fan either. Particularly if I can't find MY container for it. I do find a water bottle with a straw works best in moving from the glass to my mouth. You should try it!

Jen, Diana and Carma - hope you ladies are doing well!

Okay - off to make a to-do list. We close escrow on FIL's mobile home today, so pray our old house sells. Every month is $2200 I could be buying something fabulous with!

Be good to yourselves!

Morning Ladies, I had a few good days of following my Weed for the week, then a few off days again, so trying to reclaim habits today and for the rest of the week. Almost at the end of harvest and hoping to get bouquets for Oregon Cycle project done today. On Tues. we got great news that ds tonsils are fine and should be back to normal size in 6 months. Son got two pairs of shoes and school supplies in town, today I ordered a blanket & comforter for college. The realization/relief is I think I finally have everything ds needs for college.

JenV, Welcome to 3 fat chicks and to this thread. I am not a huge water consumer either, but if I aim for 50 oz. I have a good habit going for the day and sometimes get another few glasses in by bed time.

Kris, Barnyard animal show went well. I sold one chicken impossible painting and two Baryard punk paintings(a sheep and the 3 jackasses). It was the most profitable show for the gallery in a long time, so I think I have the director convinced to do a fall 2015 show called Sisters in connection with breast cancer awareness month. I realize that's a long time and have a suggestion for a spring 2015 show, I will have to be sharing soon. You had a great yard sale, worth the time and effort.

Mavis, poutine sounds dangerous on the hips, lol. Sounds like it's a special treat though, and we do need those on occasion.

MINDY,You are doing so well, exercising and chipping away at the pounds, keep up the great work.

Jeni, Hi!, hope you are doing well.
