sherma - It's probably water weight. Your body holds more or less water depending on things like salt intake, hormones, exercise, etc. Here's a
really good article that goes into more detail. The most important thing to remember is that day-to-day fluctuations like that are totally normal, so don't get discouraged! Look at me this month - down two pounds, up a pound, and so on. It's irritating on the 'up' days, but it's going down on average so it's all good.
