thank you guys on your views in RE: to lent. Like I said, it is more of a cultural thing over here in Germany, and I see it as a 'challenge accepted' kind of situation. And for some odd reason, if I decide not to eat candy because of lent I actually stick to it. Which is weird.

boatingmommy actually I sometimes really wonder what a regular diet is. I think, chubby or skinny, most people have a messed up eating pattern one way or the other.
