So I went to see my doctor today because I hurt my foot two weeks ago while at the gym. I didn't really want to go because I knew he was going to just tell me to keep off it (which I haven't been- tho I have been babying it a bit example using the bike at the gym instead of the thread mill)
Anyway I found out that I sprained my foot and have soft tissue damage :/ he said it'll go back to normal... Just use ice on it. And don't push it too hard...
I'm determined that this little painful set back isn't gonna make me down, I still can use the bike at the gym, I can do it!

Feb 2nd Stayed under calories. Did not eat exercise calories. No food after 7pm.
Feb 3rd Slightly over calories 1786. Did not eat after 7pm. Did have black decaf tea. But I did that and still lost today.
Feb 4th: 211.0lbs. No food after 7pm, had white tea
FEb 5: 209.2 no food after 7 pm. Had black tea.
Feb 6: 208.2 no food after 7. Water only.
Feb7: 208.0 ate food until 8pm but will be sleeping later so should get my 11 hr fast. Ate my exercise calories. We will see in the am what doing it did.
Feb 8 207.2 ate until 8:30 but will sleep later again.
Feb 9 207.2, No foods after 6pm and possibly shy on water.
Feb 10: 207.6 exercise class night. Ate late. Won't have breakfast until 9am. Water up to date.
Feb 11: 206.8 no food after 7 pm.
Feb 12: 209.4 ugh please let it be TOM!
Feb 13: ??? 206.4 weird maybe sodium
Feb14: 208.4 ate after 7pm but will be sleeping later in am.
Feb 15: 207.8. Will update last food later.

Good morning All! So yesterday I went back down a lb and today I went back down another lb, so I'm happy my cheat day weight fell back off like it was supposed to. Now if I can just keep going and get back into the 160's! It won't happen by the end of the week of course, but as long as I'm headed in that direction, it's all good!

afm, I got to a new low today. 210! so excited. I would love to see 209 in the next couple of days, but I am about to hit some hills that are going to really challenge my body, and I may retain water, but I'm going to up my intake of water to help with the muscles...I am really not just interested in getting skinny, but I want to be fit.
On the amazing side: this morning my blood ketones were the highest they have ever been in my entire life. Which means the fat fast has worked its magic and I am deep, deep, deep in ketosis. My blood ketones this morning were 4.4 mmOl, which is actually a bit too high. My blood sugar was 80 so no worried about ketoacidosis. Just some freakin' amazing fat burning going on! I didn't think that was even possible for my body! My metabolism is apparently really resistant and my liver was holding on tight to some glycogen stores. Which will probably happen again even though I keep my carbs between 20-30 on UpDays and <15 on DOwnDays. So I think I will do a fat fast once a month.
However, with all the extra calories my weight has inched back up a bit, which is unusual for me. It seems I have benefited all I can from my three day fat fast so today is going to be a regular (uber-low-carb) DownDay:
GG's Crispbread with a Laughing Cow wedge for breakfast
Hard boiled egg & celery for lunch
Omelet for dinner
Veggie broth, herbal tea, Crystal Light, and sugar-free jell-o as needed.
